Located in Mahabalipuram, the granite is 6 meters high and 5 meters wide and weighs over 250 tons. The stone has been in the same position since 1200 years. It is believed that at one time in history elephants were employed to move the stone but it did not move. The stone is believed to a ball of butter that was dropped by the god.
