He describes his journey in each of these places and elaborates on how his first trip out of Andhra Pradesh was an enjoyable one. This multiple-city tour to Bangalore, Mysore, and Coorg was a special experience for me. It marked my first visit out of Andhra Pradesh and also my new beginning in life after marriage – our honeymoon.

Day 1: Bangalore and Mysore
Our flight to Bangalore was delayed by 2.5 hours and we finally reached the city by 12. At around 1:30 we had our lunch and then went out for sightseeing. We visited the ‘Tipu Sultan Summer Palace’ after which we were transferred to Mysore.
We reached Mysore by 5:30-6 PM and checked into our hotel – ‘Hotel Ruchi’. This was a good 3-star property and I was happy with its hospitality and arrangements.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Mysore
We got up early this day and after our breakfast went out for sightseeing in Mysore. Our first stop was the ‘Mysore Palace’ which was a grand and majestic affair.
Later, after having our lunch in a restaurant, we went out to see the ‘Saint Philomena Church’ which was again a very good cultural and historic experience. We also visited the ‘Zoo’ and later returned to our hotel.

Day 3: Mysore to Coorg
After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we were picked up by the driver for our journey to Coorg (5 hours). We had lunch on our way and also saw a beautiful Tibetan Monastery.
We stayed in ‘Coorg Jungle Camp’ and had an awesome experience there since it was situated 7 km inside the forest.
Peace, private, and serene, this was an awesome and relaxing stay!

Day 4: Sightseeing in Coorg
Sightseeing in Coorg involved witnessing the majestic elephants and other wildlife. Later on, we also visited a nearby beautiful hill station – ‘Madikeri’.
Day 5: Going back
We got up early and left for Mysore by 10 AM and from there we were transferred to Bangalore for our flight back to Visakhapatnam (Vizag).
Bangalore, Mysore, and Coorg were an awesome experience for both my wife and I. Each city had its own charm and I enjoyed visiting their points of interest. Out of the three, my favourite place was Coorg, since it was completely in the lap of nature. Coorg allowed my wife and I to spend some quality time with each other and we will forever cherish the memories we made there.
Overall, this journey was an awesome one!

Low Points – Our flight from Visakhapatnam to Bangalore was delayed by 2.5 hours and that caused inconvenience.
