Before coming on this romantic trip to Greece, I associated Athens as a great place for scholars and history lovers. However, I was surprised to see the lively and vivacious nightlife in the city that matches any classical European city.
On the first few days of our vacation, we visited places like the Acropolis, National Park, and Panathenaic Stadium during the day. In the evening, we explored various options for nightlife like Plaka and Psyrri. These neighborhoods are famous for having plenty of street cafes, delicious food, and live local music.

On the third day of our romantic trip to Greece, we took a ferry at 6 am for Santorini. Surprisingly, the five-hour ferry ride was really comfortable. In Santorini, our hotel was located in a very serene location near the lighthouse on the island. The afternoons were spent chilling out by the pool for a while. We also hired a self-driven car for two days to explore Santorini. We visited the scenic lighthouse that very evening. Later on, we drove to Fira and went around the city for around.
The next day, we drove to Oia and explored the scenic town. The place is very romantic and it was very easy to fall in love with the thousands of white and blue houses that are a unique feature of this island.
In Santorini, I felt like photographing every single street and alleyway. We were sitting in Oia that evening. Saw the most incredible sunset ever. We even visited some windmills on the island which are located on an altitude that provides a panoramic view of Santorini and the Aegean Sea. Unfortunately, we missed out on a wine tour in Santorini due to a shortage of time, but we did have wine at the restaurants in Santorini at every chance we got.

On the fifth morning of our romantic trip to Greece, we took a ferry at 11 am from Santorini to Mykonos. A quiet island in the day and a very lively place at night. During the day, we explored the island a little. A typical party island that likes to stay up and party till 6 am. A plus point of Mykonos for us was that our resort was beautiful. We felt like spending time over there a little.
On our final day in Mykonos, we visited the town, stopped by at several beautiful beaches, and experienced the party scene on the island. Not to forget, this island also had windmills where we saw yet another beautiful sunset.
