Day 1: A romantic beginning
Our flight from Mumbai landed in Bali and after our immigration and custom procedures, we were greeted by the representative of the Hotel Grand Ixora who took us for the check in to the hotel in Kuta.
After a night of traveling, we decided to keep our afternoon for leisure and rest. After some relaxation and rest, we enjoyed a romantic candle light dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at Hotel.
Highlight for the day: The poolside candlelight dinner experience was superb. My wife was ecstatic with this surprise, as I hadn’t told her about the poolside dinner.
Day 2: Sightseeing in Ubud

After an early morning breakfast, we left for Kintamani Volcano and Ubud Waterfall tour.Our guide Mr. Madeh Kertayasa, a helpful and funny guy, superbly guided us on our tour. He was on time every single day. We loved his company as he gave us a very informative tour of Bali.
After leaving from the hotel, we witnessed the Barong and Keris dance at Batubulan. Then we moved ahead to Ubud art village, where we saw Gold and silver smith working on gold and silver ornaments and antiques.The paintings in Ubud art village were mesmerizing. The hard work was literally visible through their work.
With that, we moved ahead to Tegenungan Waterfall located near the Petanu River. The waterfall had a sharp drop along the course of a river, and it was superb to see it from closer.Afterwards, we visited the Sri Batu spice garden where we explored coffee and spice plantation and tasted different types of coffee and spices.
Post lunch, we visited the Batur volcano & crater lake to enjoy a panoramic view of the volcanic landscape beside the serene lake.
Our day ended, with a visit to the Monkey forest which lies within the village of Padangtegal. Besides seeing around 700 monkeys, we also saw 186 species of trees in 12.5 hectares of forest, giving us an abundance of fresh air.
Highlight of the day: We felt mesmerized by the beautiful craftsmanship in Ubud art village.
Day 3: Watersports in Bali

After a hearty breakfast, we spend the day by going for thrilling water sports activities. We chose to do it on our personal cost and select the sport of our choice. We had a superb time trying out sea walking and flying fish.
After a tiring day of sports, we decided to have a spa session in the evening as it was included in my honeymoon package.The spa session was super relaxing and relieved us from all the tiredness we had.
Highlight of the day: The thrill of watersport activities in Bali was memorable.
Day 4: Uluwatu sightseeing tour
This day, we had a half day tour to Tanah lot and Uluwatu temple. We had a rare chance to experience the Hindu culture in a country other than India. Tanah Lot, famed for its unique offshore setting and sunset backdrops, was probably the best sightseeing place on our trip to Bali.
Next up, we move to the Uluwatu Temple to watch a Kecak dance performance. Kecak Dance is performed in the stage near the temple, with backdrop of sun set behind of the ocean horizon. Men and boys sat in concentric circles and slid into a trance as they chanted and sung in lively voices in order to re-enact the Hindu epic Ramayana.

After this spiritually charged experience, we returned to the hotel and rested for the night.
Highlight of the day: Tanah Lot Temple is simply among Bali’s not-to-be-missed icons.The view was superb and it made our day.
Day 5: Scenic temples and waterfalls of North Bali
The day began with breakfast, followed by a day tour in the north of Bali. The tour started with a visit to the Bedugul fruit and vegetable market where we tasted the delicious tropical fruits of Bali.
After that, we traveled to Lovina but the trip was interrupted by heavy rain. As a result, our itinerary got slightly altered, as we moved to the Ulundanu temple.
Finally, we saw the Taman Ayun Temple in the village of Mengwi. The beautiful gardens and impressive tower-like structures within the temple were impressive to see. At 7 pm, the driver took us back to the hotel, where we enjoyed an evening of relaxation by the pool.

Day 6: Luxury Villa life

After a delicious breakfast, we checked out and transferred to a Villa. Another day on our trip to Bali, where we had the entire to ourselves for leisure and shopping.
After reaching the villa, we hired a bike and explored the streets of Bali. In the afternoon, we returned to the villa with bags filled with souvenirs and gifts for our family. We decided to enjoy the evening in the villa and utilize the luxurious facilities.
Highlight of the day: The villa had a private jacuzzi and swimming pool. It was a stunning 2 BHK villa for a honeymoon stay with kind and generous staff members.
Day 7: Sailing off into the Bali sunset

In the afternoon, we returned our rented bike and proceeded for the Bali Hai sunset cruise. It was well planned by the Travel triangle as the driver was on time to pick us up. After arriving at the cruise, we were greeted with a welcome drink and then we had some pictures clicked on the cruise.
It felt awesome seeing a band play us different songs of our choice with a dance show, dinner, and DJ. It was to be a perfect end to our honeymoon trip to Bali. The cruise ended at 8 pm, as we proceeded back to our luxurious villa.
Highlight of the day: Seeing the sunset on an epic cruise ship with my lovely wife.

We did an early morning checkout from the villa to catch our flight back to India. The villa staff were so kind to specially pack a breakfast for us. We boarded the cab which dropped us to the airport for our flight back home.
The love and kindness shown by the people of Bali made us fall in love with the tropical paradise. Although, it was the end of our trip, as we took back few of the most memorable memories of our lives, we could sense the beginning to a special bond of companionship in life.
