However, the best season to visit Kasol is summers as the pleasant weather of the hill village making the place more serene and the liveliness just being perfect for a tour to a village in Kullu district. Another good time to visit Kasol is from October to February as the temperature is very low making an ideal time for people who want to witness snowfall and for couples to visit.

Summer (March to June): The pleasing weather with temperatures not dropping below 15 degrees, summer is the best time to visit Kasol. You will see tourists from all over the world this time who make Kasol home during these months. You can do a lot of treks but it gets very crowded during summers. Kasol is touched by a party mood in the summers. One can experience a number of rave parties and music festivals with psychedelic trance hitting the hills with their heavy bass beats. Some famous and dominant festivals in Kasol happen to be the Magica Festival, Parvati Peaking and Shiva Squad Festival during summers. DJs and music artists from India and other nations such as Israel make the attendees bounce up with their tracks.The night temperature in the summers does not fall below 15 degrees Celsius.

Monsoon Season in Kasol

Monsoon (July to September): Monsoon is not considered an ideal time to visit the place. There are heavy chances of landslides and you will find definite news on road blockages. The Kullu district receives moderate to heavy rainfall but a visit to this place during this time of the year will be a great feast for a person who loves to enjoy the natural beauty of the region along with the waterfalls, greenery and the romantic mist making the place livelier. It is not advisable to visit Kasol in July and the same goes for weather conditions at Kasol in August. Though Kasol is very cheap, Monsoon is considered as an off-season and will make your tour to the hill station more cheaper. Winter (October to February): Owing to the extremely chilly weather, Winter is least recommend for a trip to Kasol. Most roads leading to Kasol are blocked and the temperatures at this time of the year are freezing cold. Also, many of the places in Kasol are inaccessible during these winter months.
