How to Reach The Great Himalayan National Park in Kullu

The Great Himalayan National Park is a completely covered area having no roads, premises or facilities. Traveling to the Himalayas from plains give people an adventurous experience. One may plan to visit from Delhi by taking a semi-sleeper bus to Manali. It is better to inform the driver beforehand that the drop is at Aut. One may hire a taxi from there that will cost another thousand bucks in approximation. Taking a bus to Banjar/Gushaini or Sainj/Niharni is also a good option which is quite cheap as well. This is one of the most convenient and cost effective ways to travel.

One may also choose to drive as well. It takes eleven hours approximately from Delhi to reach The Great Himalayan National Park. The traveler may plan to go via Shimla going through Jalori Pass. It is a longer route, but the exotic sceneries and the picturesque views are too precious to be missed. An important thing to note is that Jalori Pass is closed in winters. So the traveler needs to avoid taking this route if traveling in the months of December to March. The major destinations that one may reach are Sainj river Valley, Tirthan Valley, Banjar Valley and Jalori Pass. The variety of species that you witness at The Great Himalayan National Park makes you fall for this place, especially those who have a keen interest in wildlife.
