Take a flight from Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport to Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi (2 hr 10 min) and then another flight from Delhi to Bhuntar (1 hr 20 min). There are a number of flight operators providing daily services from Mumbai to Delhi. Air India provides with daily flights from Delhi to Bhuntar.You can then opt for a bus or a cab which will take around 2 hours for you to reach Manali from Bhuntar Airport. Alternately, you can take a flight to Chandigarh Airport from Bombay (2 hr 45 min) which is about 317 km from Manali for which you can book a cab or opt for a bus which should take around 8 to 9 hours.By Train: You can opt among a number of trains to Chandigarh from Mumbai (27-30 hrs). You can opt to self drive or hire a cab. It takes about 33 hours on a road journey from Mumbai to reach Manali. Unfortunately, there are no buses that connect the two cities.
