Mumbai To Shimla By Rail

If you are travelling by train from Mumbai to Shimla, the journey can take about 20 hours. Travel by train till Delhi from Borivali which takes about 15 hours. From here, take a train till Kalka and this journey takes about 4 hours. Now, travel by car from Kalka till the hill station Shimla. This car ride would take you about an hour.

Mumbai To Shimla By Road

Travelling by road from Mumbai to Shimla takes about 37 hours. You can travel by bus from Mumbai to Nathdwara and the entire journey takes about 15 hours. Next, take a bus from Nathdwara to Delhi which will take about 11 hours. Now, take a connecting bus from Delhi to Shimla which takes another 11 hours for the journey.
