How To Reach Kufri In Shimla

It is not very difficult to reach Kufri from Shimla. There are rail networks or airports in Kufri, so the only way to get there is by road. You can choose to either hike your way all the way to Kufri, covering a distance of nearly 14 km, or hire a cab to take you to the starting point. From the starting point, you can either opt to reach the top on horseback, which is advisable, or you can hike by yourself.

State-owned and privately operated buses are also available to take travelers to Kufri from Shimla, but the schedule for these buses is not very accurate, so make sure you know when and from where your pick up will be made. By vehicle, depending upon the traffic on the Kufri Chail Road, it will take no more than half an hour to an hour to reach the Kufri trekking starting point.When visiting Shimla, make sure to check out Kufri at least once.
