How to Reach Victoria Peak

The fastest way to reach Victoria Peak from the airport is to take the airport express to Hong Kong station. It will take around one hour to reach on weekdays and it may add few more minutes on weekends. If you are staying in a hotel then you can take a cab to drive you to the Hong Kong station and once you reach the station you have many options to go to the Peak, according to your preference.

The best way to reach the Victoria peak is via the Peak Tram, that departs from its terminus on Garden Road (nearest MTR: Central). It makes your experience even better as you get the chance to travel in this amazing railway and enjoy the sight from different angle which is not possible while walking. For a better experience, it is recommended to plan your arrival half an hour before dusk and watch as the city lights go multicolored. The peak tram takes 8–10 minutes to reach the top.

If you don't want to walk that far and neither want to take the Peak tram then other option is to take the bus. After reaching at the station you may take bus 15C or 15B from Central Pier 8 and it may take around 20 minutes to take you to your destination. The 15B bus service to Victoria Peak runs from Tin Hau Station MTR station on weekends and Public Holidays only. Another option is to take minibus 1 from the public transport interchange service at MTR Hong Kong Station. These city buses are operated by NWFB and provide good quality, clean transportation service all the way from the eastern city location of Victoria Peak for the tourists and locals, leaving you with a great experience visiting Victoria Peak.

Anyone who is willing to take the taxi for the visit can hire a private taxi and it may take 20 minutes to cover the distance. Buses, cabs and all private transports can be found on the ground floor at the Peak Galleria.
