Here are the dishes one should try in Tuscan cuisine.

Panzanella

Throwing stake bread away is a sin in Tuscan. The bread leftovers are used for making summer bread salad with veggies like onion, cucumbers, and tomatoes and seasoned with vinegar and olive oil. Tuna and capers are required in a richer version of Panzanella.

Ribolita

Castagnaccio

It is a unique kind of chestnut cake which is made with chestnut flour and water. It is the dessert that has its origin from mountains of Tuscany where there are so many chestnut trees. The sweetness of the dish is from the flour, pine nuts and Sultanas. Cake is poured with olive oil and some rosemary too sprinkled on it.

Potato tortelli

This is the dish which is very delicious buts simple and is served with the game meat sauce and was one that used to be served at the hunting area of Medici.
