Tips

Since it is a popular tourist attraction, the temple can get crowded sometimes, especially during summers. To avoid the crowds, it is best you visit it early in the morning (from around 8.30 AM when it opens) and late in the evening (closes at 7.30 PM) Note: on Sundays, the temple closes at 6 PM

Cameras are allowed in the temple, and you can get a great shot of the dome when directly beneath the Oculus

There is security screening at the entrance of the temple, so be ready to have your bag checked if you carry one
