Dr's 7 days trip to Kerala

Preplanning was good but on Day 1 when we reached Munnar, the hotel was 15-20km away from the city with no facilities to eat or roam around. We had to convince our driver to take us to city so that we could have our lunch as nothing was available in the hotel at 3pm. In Munnar as per our itinerary, we were to visit tea factory but the driver told that the factory is closed on both the days and we will visit another factory on way to Thekkady which also was closed. So we could tea factory on 3 consecutive days due to misinformation by the driver. During the entire trip, the driver would just drop us at the hotel and would not take us in the city for shopping/sight seeing telling us that it is 500metrs, 800 metres and ask us to go on our own though, we were supposedly having the cab with driver till 8pm as per the itinerary. He would simply refuse to go anywhere after dropping us at hotel. With a 4 year kid, it was difficult walking all the time. While going to Kanyakumari, he tried to discourage us visiting places as per the itinerary giving various reasons. We stayed in Kanyakumari till sunset as per itinerary, but on our way back, he was very rude. Next day morning when we were to visit Padmanabhaswamy temple, when we called him at 8am, he was still sleeping and took 1 hour to get ready. Because of this, we missed the darshana at the temple which closed just 5 minutes after we reached there. we were ready and had checked out at 8:15 but because of him, we missed the darshana. He dropped us at Trivandrum airport 3 and half hours before flight timing saying this is mandatory although the airport staff told us that we could have easily reported one and a half hours later, because of this we had to wait at airport for 2 and a half hours. Kindly look into the matter so that such things dont happen with others.

Hotels arranged in Munnar was very bad. Resort was full of insects. Itenary planning could have been better. The purpose of visiting Thekedy was not met. Cab driver dropped us in airport 5 hours before the flight timing. Very poor sightseeing planning.

Hotel at Munnar and thekkady was good. Hotel at kovalam below standard. Houseboat at alleppy was a disaster. We leave house boat, no alternative accommodation provided by travel agent and book hotel at our own cost( Reimbursements must done). One suggestion, Never book houseboat online. Leave it to travelers to book at own after reaching alleppy.for travel agent, Need improvement in tour package planning. Taxi services was good enough. Driver was polite and always on time. overall tour was nice Munnar was the best part of trip.

management of the travel agent aman chaudhry was poor. one of the hotels mentioned in our itenary was not booked. after reaching the hotel we wer informed that we will have to select alternate options nearby. house boat condition was pathetic with having clenliness and ac problems. it was suppose to be an ac premium boat but both the ac's stopped working within 15 mins of starting the boat trip. Aman tried to help everywhere and was in proper contact but he should have taken care of the hotel bookings and his vendors services prior we reach there and start our trip. if his vendors cheat him thats his lookout but our time got wasted and ultimately we had to take our house boat money refund and cancell booking with the river land boating guys. we didnt get house boat experience because of this problem. it was because of aman chaudhry i got my 100 percent refund in allepy. he tried to help wherever he could but at times things wer out of his control for which he should have done proper planning and double check things in advance. sieght seeing was good. driver was very friendly and a very good driver. he was always on time. kovalam beach and stay was the best.

The trip organised and planned by Hari from deva travels. My family just had a super amazing and awesome holiday in Kerala. I must make a special mention of truly exceptional services provided by Hari from deva travels. Right from the start of the trip to the end, He remained in touch with me asking for feedback and making my stay and tour comfortable. The hotels that he selected were all very nice properties that fit perfectly in my budget with some special add ons thrown in.. He arranged everything from airport drop and transfers as per and was taking care of minor issues with drivers as well. Also he upgraded my room to Royale suite at munnar. I was very happy that he arranged for a 7 nights stay within my budget. I would definitely recommend him to all my friends, relatives and family. Thank you harj for making my holiday truly awesome.. My Rating will be 5 stars Day - 4 - Alleppey Deluxe ac Houseboat ( White Rose ) Worst house boat, it is an very old boat, they said they will provide White Rose boat, but once reached there, they have given some other boat which is stinking and full of lizards and spiders, very bad experience over there , we avoided sleeping in rooms and all of we slept in single hall. My Rating will be 0.. no stars Day 5 - Kochi Prime Palace hotel As per budget we are looking these kind of rooms only, Everything is very good here. My Rating will be 5 stars
