For any traveler who is looking for a spectacular view of Barcelona or some amusement, Tibidabo can fulfil both the wishes. Tibidabo is basically a mountain which overlooks the city of Barcelona.  

There are three things to do on Tibidabo Hill. One can visit the old amusement park. It is more than hundred years old and tourists from all over the world come to visit the place to enjoy the rides. It is great fun for the little ones. The old school rides would be fun for the elderly people as well because some of the rides are from the late 1880’s as well. For the religious souls, there is a church called Temple de Sagrat Cor. The church is located on top of the mountain and one can witness the best views of Barcelona.

The Collserola Tower cannot be missed. It is located on top of the mountain as well. There is a viewing platform on top of the tower. The view would be unforgettable. In a nutshell, the traveller can expect great things from the Tibidabo Hill. The destination can be reached via metro or bus. The ride in the blue tram is a must. During winter months, the tram does not operate.  

The funicular point takes you to the top. Tramvia Blau takes you halfway and from there, you would need to take the funicular. Once you reach on the top, you would be mesmerized by the beautiful views. Tibidabo Hill in Barcelona is 520 meters high and it is surrounded by lush greenery.

It is advisable to go to Tibidabo on a clear day when there are no hazy clouds. You cannot miss the view of Barcelona from Tibidabo. It is breathtaking. There is a history behind the amusement park, church and the Torre de Conserolla. If you wish to get the best view, watch the sunset from Tibidabo Hill. It is only open on weekends and public holidays.
