My wife and I generally enjoyed the whole trip. The cab driver behavior did put us off as he wanted to control our trip. The hotel in Kovalam was below our expectation. We enjoyed the Houseboat stay a lot. The Munnar hotel could have done better. Finely, the stay in Kochi was enjoyed a lot. On the whole, Kerala, the area we visited, is so nice and beautiful. The trip was worth the effort.

I was traveling alone. There was not one place nor any moment when I felt afraid or unsafe. My guide and driver is a gentleman, a knowledgeable guide and was always willing to help. He has patiently answered my many questions. His driving skills are excellent.
