However, it is also the best time to visit Singapore as you will get to experience the best of the place at this time with many activities to indulge in.

1. Sentosa Island: Becoming An Islander

This man-made island is accessible via a small bridge and jam-packed with lots of entertaining elements. We also went to Madame Tussauds and we must say, the statues looked for real. After clicking great pictures, later in the night, we went for a Safari in the first nocturnal Zoo. Though we did not see many animals in the zoo, however, the mere presence in the jungle at night was thrilling in itself. Various cultural performances were the highlight with tribal dances, fire eating displays, and blowpipe demonstrations. The Creatures of the Night Show, that was a performance presented by the animals was a great hit.

2. City Tour: Exploring The City Inside Out

On our tour of the city we got to visit a lot of attractions in the city. We strolled through the Suntec city, Fountain of Wealth, Orchard Road and Merlion Photo stop. On one of our walking trails, we went to Little India, where the streets are flooded with art establishment, old temples, and bustling markets. We also took a ride of the flyer. It was an exciting experience to explore the beautiful city of lights. China Town is the cultural gem of the city with various food choice for the guests. The wings of fire was a mind-blowing show of laser lights, water fountains, and crackers.

3. S.E.A Aquarium: Among The Many Under Water Creatures

Walking through tunnels with giant manta rays and bull sharks swimming alongside was a great experience. We also found cute seahorses and deep-ocean jellyfish in the aquarium. With 10 zones and 50 different habitats, we learnt about the breeding conditions of the various creatures. We also saw some endangered species like scalloped hammerhead and clicked amazing pictures of the beautiful creatures.

4. Jurong Bird Park: It’s Show Time!

We went to Jurong bird park which took almost one hour for us to travel. We could only visit the place for less than 2 hours which we thought was a very less time. The bird show was mesmerizing like flamingos, penguins, pelicans, and hornbills exhibiting wonderful skills. A man made 30-meter waterfall is also located in the bird park.

Getting Around Singapore

Singapore enjoys great connectivity and getting around in the city is pretty simple and here are some of the easiest and best ways to get around the city.

By MRT: One of the best ways to get around Singapore is by MRT. Offering hassle free and cheap rides to the major tourist attractions in Singapore, these trains can get crowded during peak hours but are the most convenient option for traveling in Singapore. It runs from 5.30 AM to 12.00(midnight) every day.

By Singapore Taxis: If privacy is all that you want then taxis are the best way to get around Singapore. But don’t expect your ride to be cheap for taxis in Singapore are expensive. You can get a taxi at the taxi stands of malls and hotels or anywhere on the street.
