Weather In Thailand During Our Tour

The weather there was hot and humid but it felt comfortable. We actually enjoyed the tropical weather. This is how the average weather in Thailand usually remains during this time, with an average temperature of 33 degrees Celsius.

The Best Experiences We Had With Our Thailand Honeymoon Itinerary

Let us tell you about the most memorable experiences we had on our trip. We have tried to list various romantic things to do in Thailand that we indulged in and that you can plan your trip around.

1. Sunset At Krabi Beach

reached to the destination
visited to the beaches in Thailand
spent some time in resort
had a happy stay in our resort
spent the day on the beach

Witnessing the sunset on the beaches of Krabi has to be on the top every couple’s list of activities to do in Thailand! Those views are just too irresistible to miss. We spent the entire evening of our first day in Thailand on the beaches of Krabi, idling on the sand, walking on the shores, and gazing at the stupendous views before us! It was magical and we’d definitely want to experience it all over again! You can also indulge in parasailing here which would not cost more than 2000 THB (INR 4,600).

2. Island Hopping In Krabi

had some great fun on the beach
get to see some of the best places in Thailand
clicked pictures on chicken island
had fun while island hopping

The 4 Island Tour of Krabi takes you island hopping to the 4 major tropical hotspots in the Krabi sea – Phra Nang Cave, Tup Island (Ao Nang), Chicken Island (Ko Kai), and Poda Island (Koh Poda). Surrounded by crystal clear waters, these are some of the best places to see in Thailand where we got to engage in various activities like swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, and more. We got to see the rich variety of corals and marine creatures that Thailand is famous for.

We enjoyed riding through the Gulf of Thailand in a lavish speed boat that took us around these charming islands. the Phra Nang Cave is famous for the wonderful stalactites and stalagmite formations, as well as the shrine of the princess goddess in Krabi. Tub Island and Poda Island are popular for their gorgeous beach where you can simply relax and take in the splendid views before you! And the Chicken Island is a renowned spot for swimming and snorkeling amidst the colorful coral reefs and fishes, which are some of the major tourist attractions in Thailand. Lunch is served on either of these islands during the tour itself.

3. Nightlife In Krabi

went on to explore the nightlife of the Krabi
had delicious meal
took sunbath on the beach

The nightlife of Krabi looked so inviting that we just couldn’t stay in the hotel once we had reached Krabi. Immediately after freshening up, we set out to be a part of the glitter and glam of this happening city, and loved every bit of it! We went shopping in the noisy yet exciting night markets, saw various clubs and bars, and just walked in the crowded lanes shimmering with lights and filled with the aroma of Thai street food.

Other than this, couples can spend time at Soi RCA, go for a romantic Sunset Dinner Cruise, witness a cultural show at Paka Park, or watch a glorious cabaret show at any of the theatres spread across the city. Also, if you’re looking for the best places to eat in Thailand, you’ll find plenty of them in Krabi.

4. Exploring The Phi Phi Islands

beach offers breathtaking scenery
did some water activities
explored the phi phi island
explored the city
enjoyed some drinks also

Phi Phi Islands are regarded as one of the most beautiful islands in the whole world, and rightly so! Offering you some breathtaking scenery, white beaches, gorgeous bays, and endless opportunities for snorkeling and swimming, they are definitely the best places to see in Thailand with your better half.

Upon our arrival to these islands, we were taken to Maya Bay, Loh Samah Bay, Pileh Bay, as well as the Viking Cave where we saw the clearest water we had ever set eyes on! That was when we understood why these islands are the favorites of all snorkeling and diving enthusiasts visiting Thailand!

Thailand Honeymoon : Have A Fantastic Vacation With Your Better Half

Our Accommodation In Thailand

The hotels we stayed at were simply awesome! In Krabi, we stayed at the Apple A Day Resort which is one of the best places to stay in Thailand. It offered exceptional services and let us enjoy various activities like games and swimming. We were really happy with the hospitality we received there. In Phuket, we stayed at the Chanalai Hillside Resort located on Karon Beach. This was also a fantastic property with its pool bars, clean and hygienic rooms, and various other services. The staff was super friendly and courteous.

Food In Thailand

We found many good restaurants near Apple A Day Resort in Krabi that served delicious Indian cuisine in affordable rates. In Phuket, we totally loved the experience of dining at Hotel Taj Mahal. While there are plenty of restaurants in Thailand serving Thai delicacies and seafood, you’ll still be able to find a number of great Indian and vegetarian restaurants at every nook and corner. The service was always awesome, no matter which restaurant, cafe, or street-side stall we visited for our meals. We managed to find quality Indian that didn’t burn a hole in our pockets wherever we went in this country. It has dining options for people with all kinds of food preferences – non-vegetarian, vegetarian, vegan, seafood lovers.

Our Shopping Experience In Thailand

We would always suggest all the people traveling to Thailand to indulge in shopping in Krabi out of all the other shopping places in Thailand. We had an awesome time exploring the markets and shopping lanes of Krabi, which were loaded with a diverse range of goods like clothes, electronics, food items, accessories, and much more at very affordable rates. You’ll find unique varieties of handicrafts and souvenirs at markets like the Krabi Town Walking Street, Ao Nang’s Catalunya Walking Street, and Railay Walking Street. Railay happens to be an awesome shopping market in Thailand for buying cheap fashion wear and souvenirs.

Common Queries We Had While Planning Our Holiday

We had a number of doubts while planning our romantic getaway to Thailand. Now that we’re back, we would like to answer them to help others book their trip smoothly.

How much money do you need for a day in Thailand?

On average, one usually spends about 2,500 THB in Thailand in a single day over things like accommodation, meals, and transport. The cost goes up if someone decided to go sightseeing or indulge in any activity.

What is the best currency to take to Thailand?

One can either take US Dollars to Thailand or Thai Baht. It is usually advised to carry around the local currency since you may or may not be able to use USD at local stores, markets, boats, and other small scale areas. You can get your USD currency exchanged into THB at the airports in Thailand or local exchange stores in the markets.

What can you do at night in Bangkok?

There’s plenty to do in Bangkok at night. In fact, Bangkok is renowned for its glam and glitzy nightlife that invites people from all over the world. From bar-hopping, attending cabaret shows, cruising, trying your luck at the casinos, shopping at the night markets, to simply exploring the lit streets, there’s no end to what you can do in Bangkok at night.

What must one buy in Thailand?

Thailand is a haven for shopaholics. You’ll find almost everything here in terms of clothes, accessories, gadgets, food items, Thai silk, essence, handicrafts, souvenirs, Thai spices, wooden items, antiques, and much more at incredibly low rates. A great influx of travelers and shoppers visit annually to experience cheap shopping in Thailand.

What should I avoid in Pattaya?

Do not bargain with taxi drivers in Pattaya. Also, if you wish to visit a certain massage parlor or Go-Go bar in the streets of Pattaya, make sure you look it up on Google before entering to see whether it’s certified or not. It’s not a wise practice to get into uncertified and unauthorized bars and spas anywhere in Thailand.
