    Andaman & Nicobar islands

    Mandatory for Travellers

    • All passengers would be required to undergo screening upon arrival
    • All passengers would be required to share their contact details and residential address of Andaman and Nicobar Islands
    • All asymptomatic passengers would be allowed to travel to their residence/next destination by local/private transport

    Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • All travellers entering the state are required to undergo 14 days of home quarantine

    Andhra Pradesh

    Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • All passengers entering Andhra Pradesh from COVID hotspots will be kept in institutional quarantine for 7 days, followed by another 7 days of home quarantine.F
    • For passengers travelling from other regions (non-Covid hotspots), 14 days of home quarantine is required. Covid hotspots are defined as Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
    • All travellers to the state must submit their details on the Spandana state portal. More details can be found at:

    • Testing shall be done as per the protocol communicated by MH&FW department from time to time. The persons can be released for home quarantine, once they test negative with proper intimation to village/ward level health functionaries.

    Train Travel Guidelines

    • All passengers entering the state by Special Trains or Shramik Trains run by the Railways would be sent to the nearest DRC.

    Road Travel Guidelines

    • You have to apply online for an e-Pass to travel interstate but no e-Pass is required to travel inter-district.
    • Only 3 people can travel with one driver.
    • Travel timing is 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
    • All passengers need to carry a government ID which has valid address proof.
    • It is mandatory to wear a mask while travelling.
    • A minimum of 24-48 hours is required to issue the pass.
    • No permission for pick-up or drop if the location falls in Cantonment Zone.
    • People aged above 65 years or those with comorbidities, pregnant women and children less than 10 years have been advised to stay home.
    • A medical certificate is required for those travelling on medical grounds. A list of medicines must also be provided.

    Assam

    Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • All travellers entering the state must undergo 7 days of institutional quarantine, followed by another 7 days of home quarantine.
    • Exceptions to the quarantine rule are:
      1. Those who have a same-day return ticket
      2. 2. Pregnant women, elderly people (over 75 years of age and requiring assistance), children below 10 years who are travelling with parents and siblings, the differently-abled, immediate relatives of hospitalised patients and patients
        who have recently undergone cardiac, kidney or cancer treatment/surgery/transplant.

    Air Travel Guidelines

    • All incoming passengers will be screened at thermal screening booths manned by medical staff.
    • After disembarking from the flight, passengers are required to walk up to the health desks in groups of 20-25 while maintaining a distance of 1 metre.
    • There are booths outside the airport to collect undertakings from passengers and give information on the district-wise quarantine and testing centres.
    • All transit passengers travelling to other areas of North East India will be allowed to depart for their destination directly, provided they do not have any stoppages in Assam
    • All the departure points at the airport have screening booths. All those wishing to fly out of the state, will be screened. Symptomatic travellers will not be allowed to enter the airport and have to undergo further health checks as per

    Chandigarh

    Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • All visitors staying for more than 3 days (72 hours) in Chandigarh have to register themselves on

    • Random thermal screening will be conducted at railways stations, bus stops and airport.
    • Symptomatic passengers will be taken to a clinic and assessed for severity of symptoms and accordingly advised home isolation or hospitalisation.
    • Asymptomatic passengers visiting for more than 3 days (72 hours) must home quarantine themselves for 14 days.
    • Those who are transiting through Chandigarh or staying for less than 3 days (72 hours) are not required to undergo quarantine, as long as they can show their return journey details.
    • All visitors are advised to download the Aarogya Setu App and update their health status on it.

    Mandatory for Travellers

    • All passengers would be required to undergo screening upon arrival.
    • Passengers from Gujarat would be required to stay in a specified area at the airport and would be dropped off to the borders of the district. They would have to arrange for their transport from thereon. If required, they will be assisted
      by the district administration to contact the administration of their destination.

    Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • Passengers whose test results are positive will be kept under institutional quarantine and the rest can quarantine themselves at home for 14 days.

    Hotel Guidelines

    • Hotels are now open, except for the ones located in containment zones, which shall remain closed until further notice
    • According to Government-issued advisories, those above 65 years of age and those with co-morbidities are strongly advised to avoid travel and hotel stays
    • Those staying in hotels must wear face mask and practice social distancing at all times
    • Online advance booking is mandatory and must be done at least 2 days before the date of arrival. This will help the administration maintain a list of visitors arriving in every hotel

    Delhi

    Mandatory for Travellers

    • All passengers are advised to download the Aarogya Setu app on their mobile phones
    • All passengers are required to use face covers/masks, and are required to follow hand hygiene, respiratory hygiene, and environmental hygiene
    • All travellers must follow social distancing measures at airports/railway stations/bus terminals

    Air Travel Guidelines

    • All passengers will have to undergo thermal screening at the point of departure, and only asymptomatic travellers would be allowed to continue further

    Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • All passengers showing moderate to severe symptoms will be admitted to dedicated COVID health facilities
    • Travellers to Delhi who are not exhibiting any symptoms are required to undergo home quarantine for 7 days

    Safety Measures

    • All airports/bus terminals/railway stations will be regularly sanitized/disinfected and will be equipped with soaps and sanitizers. Thermal screening would be done at all exit points
    • All passenger details would be shared by concerned authorities with government officers, daily

    • All passengers entering Goa by air, rail or road will have to undergo thermal screening at the entry point.
    • Symptomatic passengers have to undergo mandatory testing and follow it up with quarantine.
    • Asymptomatic passengers will be given the following three options:
      1. Produce a Covid-negative certificate issued by an ICMR authorised lab, not more than 48 hours prior to arrival in Goa.
      2. Go for mandatory 14 days of home quarantine. They will be hand-stamped and their family members will also be required to maintain home quarantine. If someone does not have any place to home quarantine, they can opt for self-paid institutional
        quarantine for 14 days.
      3. Opt for a swab-test (cost INR 2000) and stay in self-paid institutional quarantine till the results come.

    • Complete Himachal is open for tourist

    Mandatory for Travellers

    • All visitors have to mandatorily install the Aarogya Setu app before entering Himachal Pradesh
    • All passengers should maintain social distancing protocols and follow all guidelines issued by the Government of India
    • All passengers will have to undergo screening at the airport/railway station before commencing their journey to Himachal Pradesh, and again at the border check posts of whichever district they are travelling to

    Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • Travellers from areas with high load of Covid-19 infections have to undergo 14 days of institutional quarantine while those from areas with low load of Covid-19 infections need to undergo 14 days of home quarantine. Exemptions to institutional
      quarantine include those travelling for medical emergencies, death, pregnancy or in case of senior citizens with other illnesses or those travelling with children below 10 years of age
    • Residents of Himachal Pradesh exiting the state for a short duration (business or medical reasons) and returning within 48 hours do not have to undergo quarantine, provided they are asymptomatic
    • Tourists with valid booking, preferably for duration of not less than 5 days can be exempted from quarantine provided they carry a negative test certificate from an ICMR authorized lab. This test must be done within 72 hours of date of

    Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • All passengers or returnees entering Jammu & Kashmir, by air, and also by road and rail, would have to undergo compulsory COVID-19 testing
    • All travellers would be kept under administrative quarantine till the test result is shown negative, after which they would be released for home quarantine
    • Travellers testing positive for COVID-19 would be sent to a COVID hospital for treatment

    • Travellers from states other than Maharashtra, Delhi and Tamil Nadu must undergo 14 days of mandatory home quarantine
    • Business travellers from Maharashtra who are found to be asymptomatic are exempted from quarantine while in Karnataka, if they fulfill the following conditions:
      1. They must show a confirmed flight/ train ticket with a departure date that is no later than 7 days from the arrival date
      2. Business travellers arriving by road need to provide an address proof of the person they intend to meet in Karnataka
      3. They have to produce a Covid negative test certificate which is not more than 2 days old
      4. Those who do not have a Covid negative test certificate have to undergo mandatory institutional quarantine for two days, within which time they need to get a test done at their own expense. Once the test comes negative, they are exempted from quarantine
    • Business travellers from other states who are found to be asymptomatic are exempted from quarantine and hand stamping if they can produce confirmed return train/flight ticket no later than 7 days from the date of arrival. In case of road
      travel, they must provide address proof of native state
    • Transit travellers must produce proof on onward journey no later than 1 day from the date of arrival. In case of road travel, they must produce ID as well as address proof in destination state. All transit travellers going by road will be hand-stamped

    • All travellers travelling outside Kerala are required to get exit passes issued from the District Administration at designated airports, after undergoing health screening

    • After travellers entering Kerala must undergo 14 days of home quarantine
    • There will be no mandatory quarantine for those visiting Kerala on short term trips. They have to instead obtain an entry pass

    Air Travel Guidelines

    • Boarding pass would only be issued to passengers who produce a valid entry pass obtained from the Covid19Jagratha portal
    • Pick-up vehicles with one person other than the driver are allowed to enter the airport and are directed to follow social distancing norms. If the person picking up the passenger comes in physical contact with the passenger, s/he shall also be home quarantined for 14 days

    • There will be no mandatory quarantine. Proactive self-monitoring is advised
    • All travellers entering the state who show symptoms will be taken to a nearby health care facility

    Air Travel Guidelines

    • All inbound and outbound travellers have to undergo medical check-up and thermal screening at the arrival and departure points at the airport

    Mandatory for Travellers

    • All passengers travelling to Maharashtra are required to declare that they are not coming from any containment zone, and are free of COVID-19
    • All passengers have to declare that they have not tested positive for COVID-19 in the last two months and are not placed under quarantine
    • Any passenger found travelling without meeting the required conditions would face penal action
    • All passengers, crew and staff will have to wear masks and follow sanitation rules
    • Passengers will not be allowed to enter containment zones or hotspot areas
    • All passengers need to inform the authorities about their place of stay if they are not putting up at their homes

    • Passengers travelling to Maharashtra for less than a week, are exempted from home isolation, provided they furnish details of their onward/return journey

    • Airlines and airports are required to ensure social distancing norms at all times, and passengers are required to undergo thermal screening
    • All passengers are allowed to travel to the airport in their personal vehicles, as long as they don’t travel from a containment zone

    • Travel within Mumbai Metropolitan Region is allowed without e-Pass (within a 2 km radius)
    • Inter-district movement is allowed with e-Pass but movement is not allowed in Containment/Red Zones

    Meghalaya

    Mandatory for Travellers

    Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • People returning from other states to Meghalaya would have to undergo the testing protocols prescribed by the Health and Family Welfare Department.
    • Upon returning, passengers would be taken to Shillong or Tura for testing, and kept in institutional quarantine for up to 48 hours till test results are known. Pick-up arrangements can be made thereafter from Shillong/Tura.

    Road Travel Guidelines

    • Pick up of passengers from Guwahati Airport or Guwahati Railway Station is not permitted till 10th June.
    • The Transport Department will arrange for buses to pick up passengers from Guwahati Airport and Guwahati Railway Station.

    Mizoram

    Mandatory for Travellers

    • Travellers are required to install the Aarogya Setu App on their smartphones

    • Visitors to the state can either choose 14 days of institutional quarantine or 21 days of home quarantine.

    • Those travelling from or through Red Zones will be screened and sent for mandatory 14 days of institutional quarantine, followed by another 14 days of home quarantine
    • Those who want to travel to Dimapur, Mon and Peren will be initially quarantined at Dimapur, after which provisions will be made to assist their travel to the respective districts. Further mandatory quarantine will be required, as per rules in these respective districts
    • For districts other than those mentioned above, initial quarantine will be at Kohima, after which arrangements will be made for travellers to travel to their respective districts to complete the remainder of their quarantine at District Quarantine Centres/homes as the case may be

    Odisha

    Quarantine and Testing Guidelines

    • All passengers would have to undergo 14 days of home quarantine
    • Returnees in rural areas would be required to undergo 7 days of institutional quarantine, post which, asymptomatic returnees will be discharged to undergo home quarantine for 7 more days. However, if the travellers do not have the facility
      for home quarantine, they would be required to undergo institutional quarantine, the cost of which will have to be paid by the travellers
    • Quarantine period may be extended as per the directives of local authorities
    • If any rural returnee in quarantine, develops symptoms requiring medical attention, he/she would be shifted to COVID-19 Care Centre/COVID Hospital
    • Returnees to urban areas will compulsorily have to stay in home quarantine for 14 days, as per the guidelines issued by the H&FW Dept., Govt. of Odisha. In case of proper home quarantine facility not being there, the travellers will have to undergo institutional/paid quarantine for a duration as specified by the local authorities

    Travellers Exempted from Mandatory Quarantine

    • Government officials, professionals, or others travelling to Odisha for work intending to exit the state within 72 hours of arrival
    • Government officials, professionals, or others who have travelled from Odisha for work, and are returning to the state within 72 hours of departure from Odisha

    • All passengers arriving to Rajasthan by scheduled commercial flights would have to undergo monitored home quarantine for 14 days, the breach of which shall have the person shifted to institutional quarantine and incur fine or legal action
    • Passengers visiting Rajasthan for a short stay of less than 7 days and have already undergone a RT-PCR test up to 2 days before arrival and are carrying the report stating their COVID-19 negative status, would be exempted for home quarantine and permitted for return journey
    • Passengers who reach Rajasthan without the RT-PCR testing and intend to leave within 7 days, would be sent for home quarantine. However, if such passengers undergo the RT-PCR testing and are found negative, they would be exempted from home quarantine for the remainder of their stay and allowed to return
