Sikkim is a tiny but gorgeous Himalayan state tucked away in the North-eastern part of India. From the frozen lakes in the North, the tea plantations in the West, and the mighty Kanchendzonga ranges looming throughout, Sikkim is a land of life and love. North Sikkim is one of the highest places in the world and is sparsely inhabited. Amongst the last villages on the India side of the mountains is Lachung. A literal escape from the world and only 25 km from the famous Yumthang valley, there are several specialized resorts in Lachung where you can spend your perfect Sikkim retreat.
