My husband and I always wanted to visit Dubai. It is one of the best honeymoon destinations in the world and offers a splendid mix of old and new accompanied by out of the world luxury and experiences. Moreover, we were also sure that Dubai would be able to rejuvenate our mind, body, and soul after our hectic yet super enjoyable wedding celebrations.

So now all that was left was a Dubai honeymoon package and that too was found quickly – thanks to TravelTriangle (found on Google). Day 1: The marvelous Dubai Dhow Cruise

We took our flight from Delhi and reached Dubai under 4 hours. It was a smooth flight and upon our arrival at the Dubai airport, we were greeted by a representative from the travel agent’s side who helped us with our transfer to the hotel.

Dubai at first glance appeared exciting and we were truly in awe with its grand modern appeal and old world excellent hospitality. Post our breakfast at the hotel, we rested for a while before heading out for the awesome Dubai Dhow Cruise.

The two-hour cruise experience was a delightful one and our boat passed by a lot of important and beautiful buildings of Dubai. The buffet dinner and drinks were sumptuous and there were a lot of entertainment options onboard including a magic show – in which my husband and I were chosen as volunteers. Overall, we loved the whole cruise experience since it was very romantic!

Day 2: Snow Park, Dubai Aquarium & a whole lotta fun!

Today, after a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we visited the famous Mall of Emirates, and boy, it was grand! Here, we had a great time at the Snow Park – an indoor snow resort where one can ski, play, and even meet its newest residents – the penguins. Needless to say, the experience was too good to be true!

Post the park visit, we visited the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo which are located in The Dubai Mall. Both of these places were surreal and seeing the marine life so close, certainly had an enchanting effect on us.

Overall, this day was extremely enjoyable and refreshingly different in many ways. It showed us why Dubai is one of the best modern cities for a holiday.

Day 3: Abu Dhabi & a super exciting experience at the Ferrari World

We did the Abu Dhabi city tour today and boy it was grand! The ride from Dubai to Abu Dhabi was mesmerizing and upon reaching the city, we were even more awestruck by its skyscraper buildings and opulence.

We visited the Ferrari World – the Ferrari theme park which was absolutely amazing! The whole place was basked in the iconic Ferrari red color and had 20 Ferrari inspired rides including the world’s fastest one – which took our breath away! There was the largest Ferrari Store in the world here and a Ferrari boutique too.

Overall, it was a very exciting day for us.

Day 4: Limo ride & Dubai city tour

Another day in Dubai, another luxurious experience! Today, after breakfast, we went for a 1 hour Limo ride and it was truly one of a kind experience for us. The car was majestic and had plush interiors and once inside, we felt as if we were partying in Vegas! Totally awesome!

Next was the Dubai city tour which was great for we saw some of the best attractions of the city. These included Zabeel Palace, Dubai Museum, and gold souk. We also visited the Dubai Mall and the iconic Burj Khalifa.

Day 5: Desert Safari fun

We did the Dubai Desert Safari today and it was an out of the world experience. The safari included Dune Bashing in a 4×4 Land Cruiser and it was the most adrenaline pumping experience ever. We also stopped by at the sunset point in the desert and later proceeded to the desert camp for a lavish Arabic buffet. There were many activities here including henna painting, Tanura dance, and belly dancing. Out of these, belly dancing was the most entertaining.

Day 6: Goodbye Dubai

This was our last day and we mostly did shopping today and roamed around on our own. We visited the gold souk and brought quite a lot of items. In the evening, we checked out of our hotel for our flight back to India.

Final thoughts

Our honeymoon in Dubai was a grand one. From luxury to sightseeing to adventure and romance – everything blended in perfectly for an experience of a lifetime! Memories made here will be forever cherished and we will always be glad that our special journey in life started from here.

We missed out on Atlantis due to lack of time. We would suggest travelers to at least spend one night there.
