Our honeymoon trip to Mauritius<\/strong> was a cherishable and romantic experience. I chose Mauritius for our honeymoon because of the scenic islands it boasts of. I prefer to travel to a place which is profusely rich with natural pulchritude. My ideal destination is where I can forget all about my daily routine and embrace the beauty of the Mother Nature and Mauritius made me forget all about it. The turquoise waters of the ocean and blue lagoons in Mauritius beckoned us to spend our honeymoon here.<\/p>\n

Today was all about exploring the capital. We took a scenic ride to Port Louis through sugarcane farms. Our day began with learning how to build ships at the Model Ship Factory<\/strong> where we saw a glimpse of the ship making process. It was a joyful experience beyond our expectations. Our next stop was Trou aux Cerfs<\/strong> to witness the huge crater of a dormant volcano. The crater looked like a blue eye surrounding by lush greenery and dense forests. We visited the picturesque Chamarel Waterfalls<\/strong> which enthralled us with its roaring waters. But the showstopper was the Chamarel Coloured Earth<\/strong>. We were simply astounded by looking at the undulating colorful dunes which are a beautiful resultant of a volcanic eruption. Anyone who visits Mauritius must come to see this intriguing natural phenomenon.<\/p>\n

This day could not have been any better. I am a nature lover and interacting with wild animals at Casela National Park brought me closer and more appreciative of nature. Riding a roller coaster in the woods was another unmatchable experience for us. The memories of this day are deeply etched in my heart.<\/p>\n

Since we had our flight, we enjoyed our day at the resort making the most of the facilities. We chilled in the infinity pool at the resort and played beach volleyball. We bid our adieu to Mauritius with one final swim and a scrumptious lunch at the beach before we were transferred to the airport in the evening.<\/p>\n
