\nThese lines completely define the life of Kiran as a traveler. All these years she needed a companion to hold hands and travel with her. After much wait she found that travel partner in her husband, and now she cannot wait to explore the world and create memories.<\/em><\/p>\n

For me traveling means a relaxing vacation in the lap of nature and diggin-out experiences to cherish later on in life. While I was looking out for the best places to visit on my honeymoon, one of my friends mentioned the name of TravelTriangle.<\/p>\n

But another stress for us was to decide the perfect destination for our honeymoon. I always wanted to visit a place where I can enjoy the serenity of the nature and experience a peaceful stay. But I didn\u2019t want to be part of the mad rush of Goa and Kerala which are pretty popular amidst the couples.<\/p>\n

Thus, we discussed with the team and they crafted a well-planned itinerary for our honeymoon in Sikkim<\/strong>, and I was all set to explore the serene beauty of this gem in the North-east with my husband.<\/p>\n

Day 1: Hot And Humid Siliguri Welcomes Us!<\/h3>\n

As soon as we landed at the Siliguri airport, we were not surprised to see the hot and humid weather. Our local driver was waiting there to accommodate us on our journey towards Darjeeling.<\/p>\n

Just as we entered the state, we heaved a sigh of relief as the cold breeze touched us. After enjoying the serene weather, we landed in Hotel White Yak which was our home for the first day in Darjeeling. Later we got freshen up and visited the nearby market place to do some shopping.<\/p>\n

Day 2: Sightseeing At Darjeeling<\/h3>\n

We were quite excited to explore the sightseeings at Darjeeling, and we left early morning to start our journey towards Tiger Hills but we missed the beautiful sight of the sunrise.<\/p>\n

From the hills we went to Ghoom Monastery where the 15-ft gigantic statue of Maitreya Buddha stands which is was view worth capturing. Later from there we went to the Batasia Loop where we enjoyed the fascinating ride on the toy train which runs on a spiral railway.<\/p>\n

The best part of the day tour was the Darjeeling ropeway which gave us an aerial view of the lush green valleys, tea gardens, waterfalls and the snow-capped mountains. Before the day ended we were also taken to the Zoo and the Himalayan mountaineering institute which was worth the visit. The last resort of the day was a visit to the tea gardens which just completed our Darjeeling trip.<\/p>\n

Day 3: Drive To Gangtok Through The Hills<\/h3>\n

When we started heading towards Gangtok from Darjeeling, the road journey was a treat to the eyes. We drove past the roads lined with trees and crossed the hills over Teesta river while taking a glimpse of its surreal beauty.<\/p>\n

As we reached the place, we landed at Udaan Woodberry which was our staycation for the next two days. Our room was up to our expectations where we dined and enjoyed a relaxing stay for the night.<\/p>\n

Day 4: Local Sightseeing In Gangtok<\/h3>\n

On this day we went out to explore some of the best sights in Gangtok which left us spellbound. Our first stopover was at Enchey monastery which was around 3 kms away from Gangtok.<\/p>\n

Apart from this we also enjoyed the sight of the Ganesh tok which is situated at a hilltop.Later in the day we went for some shopping in the local markets before heading towards our hotel.<\/p>\n

Day 5: An Adventurous Getaway To Nathu La Pass<\/h3>\n

We woke up early in the morning and I couldn\u2019t hold my excitement before we started our drive towards Nathu La Pass. As we hit the road and reached at the vicinity of the pass, we were spellbound by the breathtaking beauty of the route.<\/p>\n

Just after we reached the pass, we went to enjoy the mesmerizing view of the Changu lake on a boat ride. We were lucky to witness the majestic view of the lake which looked like a living scenery.<\/p>\n

Day 6: Departure From The Magnificent Hills<\/h3>\n

It was difficult to bid adieu to this exotic place, but we gathered all our sweet memories and enjoyed the view of the hills for one last time before boarding to the plane for our ongoing destination.<\/p>\n

The Best Moments Of The Trip<\/h2>\n

We really enjoyed the drive towards the Nathu La Pass and the serene boat ride at a high altitude on Changu Lake was the best experience we had during our entire trip. It was a view worth capturing.<\/p>\n

Low Points Of The Trip<\/h2>\n

It would have been great if the driver took us to the zoo in Gangtok as I really wanted to witness the fascinating view of the way the zoo is settled in a natural habitat. But still we had a great experience all throughout the trip.<\/p>\n
