Aditi Rasiwasia \u2014 along with her 4 family members \u2014 booked a package to Mauritius through TravelTriangle.<\/strong> This 5D\/4N trip was inclusive of their accommodation, site-seeing, air fare, water sports and two meals a day at a price of Rs.402,500. Take a look, as she recounts her memories.<\/em><\/p>\n

Though ardent lovers of traveling, I and my husband can manage to go for a trip only once in a year. We try and make the best of this opportunity by carefully selecting our destinations. Having booked through MakeMyTrip in the past, this was the first time that we were booking through TravelTriangle<\/strong>. We received very good quotes and the experience was such that, whenever we go for our next holiday TravelTriangle will be our first preference. About Mauritius \u2014 though I found the place apt for a one-time-visit, it is undoubtedly a must.<\/p>\n

Day 1: Sorting the self at the resort<\/h3>\n
\"The<\/div>\n

At the Airport, we were welcomed by a travel agent who transported us to our resort. On reaching Constance Belle Mare Plague, we were informed that it is overbooked and were then allocated its sister concern, Constance Le Prince Maurice<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"A<\/div>\n

We were delighted to see this higher category resort and did not have any issue with the change. The resort turned out to be absolutely amazing and the service, excellent.<\/strong> Since it took some time for us to settle down at the resort, we didn\u2019t get to indulge in any specific activity on the first day and spent our time soaking in the aura of the place.<\/p>\n

\"Family<\/div>\n

In Mauritius, vegetarians might face a problem since vegetarian food is not easily accessible with French and Continental dominating the culinary scene. Since we are vegetarians, we urged the resort authorities to prepare vegetarian Indian food and thankfully, they complied.<\/p>\n

Day 2: The best of time<\/h3>\n
\"Having<\/div>\n

The next day, we had South Island tour on the list. Since me, my husband and brother were not interested, we stayed back at the resort while my parents availed the tour. According to my parents, the trip involved a lot of driving, since the places to be visited were quite far from each other.<\/strong> The trip took around 12 hours and got a little hectic for them.<\/p>\n

\"View<\/div>\n

The best part about the resort was that it offered a number of activities like glass bottom boat, catamarans, Paddle boats, Kayaking – all for free. We went for water skiing and glass bottom boat, and had the best of time in the resort.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Day 3: Turning blue<\/h3>\n
\"the<\/div>\n

For a visit to the Ile Aux Cerfs the next day, we got picked at 8 in the morning. At the island we witnessed the marine life on the underwater sea walk excursion<\/strong>, which wasn\u2019t included in the package. At 1000 Mauritian Rupees, the underwater sea walk was a little overpriced but an experience of a lifetime.<\/p>\n

\"Fun<\/div>\n

For lunch, we didn\u2019t face any issue while hunting for vegetarian food but the quality and taste were very average. Even after not getting enough time to spend at the sea, we had a great time altogether and left for the resort at 5pm.<\/p>\n

Day 4: Re-sorting<\/h3>\n

Though we were booked for North Island tour on the fourth day, we gave it a dodge for spending a day at the resort. We enjoyed the Hamam sauna and Jacuzzi for free<\/strong> and kept ourselves busy throughout the day. With a wide range of activities to choose from, various spots to chill and relax, and with the scenic Mauritian beauty accessible from the room\u2019s balcony itself \u2014 we made the best out of the resort.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Day 5: Entering the world of adventure<\/h3>\n
\"Interaction<\/div>\n

Making the best of our day at leisure, we booked for Casela World of Adventures<\/a> and visited the Caudan Waterfront in north part of Mauritius. Casela Park is a must, when in Mauritius. Amidst a myriad of activities, we were specifically impressed by the interaction with lion. The interaction actually allowed us close proximity with the lion, without it being sedated.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Admiring<\/div>\n

At the waterfront we drove around local restaurants and stores, alongside the ships passing by. We stopped at a mall for lunch, before heading back at the resort. Although the mall was less than impressive, we nevertheless enjoyed the lunch. A turn off throughout the day was that our driver always seemed to be in a hurry. Because of him, I felt that we were not able to utilize the day to the fullest.<\/p>\n

Day 6: A Beautiful World<\/h3>\n
\"Speeding<\/div>\n

We were to be picked up at 5:30 PM for the flight to Mumbai, but our stay at the hotel was to expire in the morning itself. But thankfully, the hotel authorities complied with our request. They provided us a room not only without charging extra, but in spite of being fully booked. Throughout our stay, we were treated and served well. The warm hospitality of the people will always stay alive in my heart.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

High point:<\/strong> The stay at the resort was thoroughly enjoyed. Interaction with lion at the Casela World of Adventures was also exciting.<\/p>\n

Low Point:<\/strong> In spite of having lot of time with us, we were not able to utilize it for exploring the north part of Mauritius.<\/p>\n

Tip for future travelers:<\/strong> Enjoying Mauritius depends a good deal on enjoying the resort. Choose your resort wisely and make the best out of it.
