The endless immigration procedure ended with some shopping at duty free. We then made our way to Dubai via the public bus. It involved traditional food like Shawarma, which was incredibly delicious. So we headed to <a href=\"https:\/\/traveltriangle.com\/united-arab-emirates-tourism\/dubai\/things-to-do\/ibn-battuta-mall\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the Ibn Battuta Mall<\/a> via the local metro, which was a lovely ride as well. We even observed the upcoming construction of the new palace by the Abu Dhabi King.<strong> Overall, the tour was very informative wherein we ended up learning a lot about the local culture.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-20519\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.traveltriangle.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_20151114_192016161.jpg\" alt=\"Deira City Center Shopping Mall\" width=\"700\" height=\"525\" \/><\/div>\n<p>On returning to Dubai, we visited the local Deira City Center Shopping Mall as we enjoyed visiting the international supermarket Carrefour. It gave us an opportunity to do some shopping for our friends and relatives back home. We visited a few small street shops, which were at a walking distance from our hotel.
