The destination gave him a good mix of nature’s scenic charm and the thrill of adventure all at a reasonable price. When it comes to traveling, my wife and I are poles apart. While I like to visit calm and serene places, my wife likes the glamour of bustling cities. But the connecting factor is that both of us love traveling, be it to a domestic or some international destination. We travel not only to escape the mechanized work schedule but also to have fun while seeing and exploring new places<\/strong>. Constrained by budget, this time, we collectively zeroed in on Mauritius and looked for an ideal package for our Mauritius tour.<\/p>\n

Looking for the perfect Mauritius tour package online, we stumbled upon Traveltriangle.com and they gave us offers that were very attractive. Our search came to an end, and TravelTriangle took care of all our worries, the booking was done, the bags were packed, it was finally time to fly to Mauritius.<\/p>\n

Day 1: Mauritius- What beauty!<\/h3>\n

On landing at the airport, we were picked up by the driver who took us to our hotel. We reached the hotel, Tarissa Resort & Spa<\/strong> around 3 PM and had lunch. Our room was beautiful, offering a mesmerizing view of the sea<\/strong>. As a gesture of welcome, the hotel had kept a bottle of champagne and a bowl of fruits, which we really liked<\/strong>. Jet lagged, we finally slept at the hotel as we were unable to sleep in the flight, owing to its odd time. Since the day was free for leisure, we preferred to relax our tired selves.<\/p>\n

Day 2: All the way to the Ile Aux Cerfs Island<\/h3>\n

Beginning our exploration of Mauritius, we started off for our tour to the Ile Aux Cerfs Island. On the way to the island, we halted at a spot famous for parasailing and underwater sea walk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the parasailing experience<\/strong>, but Underwater sea walk was only enjoyed by my wife. This was because I wanted to go for scuba, which is supposed to last longer than the sea walk.<\/p>\n

Back on our way to the Ile Aux Cerfs, we had to stop one more time. This time, we were given the option to visit a nearby waterfall and after having bargained the price in the company of other people, we agreed.<\/p>\n

\"Mauritius<\/div>\n

The waterfall was a delight but as a result of the detour, we got late for the Ile Aux Cerfs Island. On the island, we roamed around for an hour, had our lunch and took off for the hotel.<\/p>\n

Day 3: Touring around the North Island, Mauritius<\/h3>\n
\"Beautiful<\/div>\n

Booked for the North Tour in Mauritius<\/strong>, we took to the fort Adelaide near Champ de Mars Racecourse.<\/p>\n

\"Chiranth's<\/div>\n

To look at the mesmerizing view of the city from the top of the fort<\/strong>, adorned with the race course was a fantastic experience.<\/p>\n

\"Chranth<\/div>\n

But the whole North trip, inclusive of a tour across the Water Front and local malls, wasn\u2019t worth a whole day in Mauritius. After having lunch in a restaurant at the waterfront, we left for the hotel, where we spent the rest of our day.<\/p>\n

Day 4: Adventure in the true sense<\/h3>\n
\"Chiranth<\/div>\n

Waking up to a day at leisure, we decided to make the best of it by visiting the Casella Adventure Park<\/strong>. We left for the park in the morning and after almost an hour\u2019s ride entered the park. While on our way, we got chatting with the other Indian couples in the shuttle. Befriending different people, made the experience very homely.<\/p>\n

\"Quad<\/div>\n

The world of adventure was opened to us with the thrilling quad biking experience<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Post-trial, we enjoyed the ride for an hour<\/strong>, following the instructor who led the way. Luckily, our new friends coordinated, clicked our pictures and doubled the fun.<\/p>\n

After the exhilarating quad biking experience, we went for the zip-line<\/strong>, which offered adventure with a veil of fear.<\/p>\n

First we had to walk on the wooden plank which was supported by two ropes<\/strong> and had to cross the seemingly 200-300 meter long, frail bridge and dangling 80 feet in the air.<\/p>\n

\"Adventure<\/div>\n

Although my wife thrives on adventure, but even she got scared when the bridge started shaking rigorously with the blowing wind.<\/p>\n

The next experience was on the Tube ride. After sliding on a humungous slide, we were thrown into the air before landing on a trampoline. It was highly scary making my heart skip a beat.<\/p>\n

\"Flying<\/div>\n

Casella Park not only made our day but the whole trip!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Day 5: Heading South<\/h3>\n
\"Chiranth<\/div>\n

After a jolt of adventure the previous day, we started the South tour by a visit to the inactive volcano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Chiranth's<\/div>\n

The tour took us through the beautiful seven colored earth, a wondrous waterfall, and various other places<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We were also taken to a place called Illusion where we enjoyed our photography sessions<\/strong>. The experience on this day seemed rather bland, having had so much fun on the previous day.<\/p>\n

Day 6: Snorkeling on a Sunday<\/h3>\n
\"The<\/div>\n

Our last day in Mauritius was once again free for leisure. This was the day when I had planned to go for scuba. But unfortunately, I was unaware that Sunday is a no-tour day in Mauritius and hence could not go for scuba<\/strong>. So I went for snorkeling instead (offered at the hotel\u2019s beach)<\/strong> while my wife stayed back at the hotel since she was not feeling well. Snorkeling was amazing because the water was clear and I could see the fishes all around me.<\/p>\n

\"And<\/div>\n

It was then time to fly back home! We left Mauritius with a heavy heart as it gave us great memories.<\/p>\n

High Point: <\/strong>The whole experience of Casella Park made our Mauritius trip totally worth.<\/p>\n

Low points:<\/strong> The food served in Mauritius was very average.<\/p>\n
