Underwater World was an oceanarium in Sentosa Island, Singapore. It opened in 1991 and had housed over 2,500 marine life forms belonging to 250 species from different parts of the world. A large part of the oceanarium was underground and was famous for Dolphin Lagoon on Palawan Beach. It belonged to Haw Par Corporation. It also participated in several environmental and educational projects over the years. In 2016, Haw Par closed the oceanarium on June 26 of that year. But even then there are many places to visit near Underwater World<\/strong>. Not many people know that The Underwater World also offered exclusive venues for offshore events, giving rise to tourism in the area.<\/em><\/p>\n
