The first day of our trip was planned for Cochin sightseeing tour and we visited numerous popular attractions of this city including St. Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue and Chinese fishing nets. We were astonished by the amazing Hindu culture art in this famous Portuguese palace named Mattancherry. Another surprise was the Jewish Synagogue exhibiting the rare antiques.<br \/>Our next sightseeing tour was in Munnar that included a visit to the famous lakes, tea plantation and the thrilling Eravikulam Wildlife Sanctuary. Echo point is one destination that must not be missed in Munnar as it is located on the confluence of three mountain streams. I felt if we could have stayed in this beautiful place for more days as it was a nice escape, away from our usual life. Munnar was one destination that revived us and will stay in our memories forever. We also witnessed wildlife esp. deer, boar, and a few rare birds inhabiting in the surrounding forests.
