Excited and happy, we took our flight from Bangalore at 3 AM and reached Maldives by 8:30 with a stopover in Sri Lanka. Upon landing at the airport, we got in touch with the travel representative from the agency and who got us transferred to the island resort via a speed boat. It was during this speedboat journey that we truly felt the vibe of Maldives since we were now surrounded by crystal clear blue waters and an even bluer open sky.<\/p>\n

We arrived at our resort in the afternoon and were shortly escorted to our room after the check in formalities. This room was to be our home for the next 5 days and staying in this tranquil yet exciting island resort made us look forward to the good things – yet to come!<\/p>\n

Tired by the journey, we chose to relax for a while in our room before venturing out to explore the resort. We had a delicious lunch at one of the restaurants of the resort and the food was really nice.<\/p>\n

Dinner was again a sumptuous affair post which we went back to our comfortable room and slept like a log.<\/p>\n
