As we visited the country in the month of May, the average temperature was pleasant and comfortable, ranging between 25 to 32 degrees Celsius. It is a dry month and turned helpful for local sightseeing and other excursions. Evenings were pleasantly warm, giving us a chance to explore the place but at times, one might feel a bit humid.<\/p>\n

On the first day of our Singapore trip, we headed for the amazing night safari during sunset. This beautiful place is home to over 1,000 animals representing nearly 100 species and one can check them out indulging in their nightly rituals. The Singapore night safari enthralled us, especially my kid. The entire region is divided into 7 geographical zones which can be covered either by foot by a tram. We also attended the cultural performances here including the one by the local tribals. We also visited the restaurant at the Night Safari, named Ulu Ulu Safari which served delicious local food.<\/p>\n

Sentosa Island is an excursion that one must not miss out on while holidaying in Singapore. Before going to Sentosa do keep in mind that you can’t plan anything else on this day as there are so many things to explore here. From theme parks to beaches, and shopping to enormous aquariums, Sentosa is truly a once in a lifetime experience. This island surprised us with the world\u2019s biggest aquarium, that is, the S.E.A. Aquarium and as we walked through it, the vibrant aquatic creatures stunned us. We also attended the Dolphin show here which was quite interesting and interactive, giving you a chance to capture the rare and exclusive experiences.<\/p>\n

It is a spectacular show, showcasing the importance of courage and friendship in human life. The show featured amazing effects of laser, water, and fire, making it one of the chief attractions for travelers vacationing in Singapore. This spellbinding show ended with an astounding fireworks display and with numerous beautiful memories we returned back to our accommodation after grabbing the local delicacies in Sentosa.<\/p>\n

This beautiful movie-theme park comprises 24 rides and attractions that will surely pomp up your adrenaline rush. If you are a true daredevil then you can also opt for a coaster where the riders are suspended. The loops, sudden turns, near-collisions, and breathtaking drops will undoubtedly make you scream your heart out. The magnificent architecture of the Universal Studios that includes lemurs, dinosaurs, mummies, and ogres will add excitement to your hours here.<\/p>\n

We also went for a local sightseeing tour in Singapore and explored numerous popular attractions including Merlion Statue, China Town, Modern Cafe\u2019s, Parliament House, Orchard Road, Westin Stamford Hotel, and Marina Bay. Merlion Statue is the official symbol of Singapore and had its own story. China Town was a local market from where one can shop souvenirs and other gift items. This place is also known for Chinese street food. If you are interested in checking out South Indian cuisine while holidaying in Singapore, then do visit little India where you will find clean and comfortable restaurants serving delicious South Indian food and beverages.<\/p>\n

In Singapore, we stayed at V Hotel Lavender. It was quite comfortable and luxuriating accommodation but my experience with the staff was not much appreciable.<\/p>\n
