Traveling has been a hobby that I\u2019ve always held dear to my heart. So I decided to explore other parts of the world with my family. Soon, I started receiving multiple offers from different agents<\/strong> regarding my inquiry for a family tour package to Dubai. The Dhow Cruise was a throwback to the medieval era<\/strong> as we got a chance to witness Dubai\u2019s rich history in the Arabian peninsula.<\/span><\/p>\n There was a host of activities for us to enjoy like the Tanura Dance Show,<\/strong> star gazing the illuminated sky, and enjoying the finger licking food<\/strong>. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening at the Dhow Cruise<\/strong>. The tour began with a trip to visit one of the world\u2019s most iconic hotels- Burj Al-Arab<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n Entering the hotel gave a feel of a hollywood movie set. The grandeur of Burj-al-arab was simply humbling<\/strong>. Afterwards, we moved to the Palm Jumeriah beach.<\/strong> The lovely construction of houses and property in the the shape of a Palm at the Jumeirah beach, and Jumeirah mosque \u00a0reminded us of the architectural might that Dubai holds in the 21st century.<\/span><\/p>\n Next up for us was Al Fahidi Fort,<\/strong> one of the most quaintly picturesque places in Dubai. The fort gives the tourists a rare insight into the medieval lives of United Arab Emirates. As soon as the tour got over, we had lunch.Post lunch, we got together with the driver again and he took us to the desert for a sand dune jeep safari.<\/span><\/p>\n As the sun set on yet another action packed day, we moved back to the hotel for some rest and food. So, we woke up will ample laziness and got on to doing a heavy brunch. Post that, I accompanied my family to the Gold Souk to buy some ornaments.<\/span><\/p>\n And as the saying goes,\u00a0” all that glitters is not gold “<\/strong>\u00a0held true, as we bought some rare and aromatic spice herbs. After spending the day emptying my pockets, the evening we decided to explore the underwater aquarium. <\/span><\/p>\n Our night was topped off with a visit to the tallest building in the world – Burj Khalifa.<\/strong> The view from the top most accessible floor for general public was stunningly panoramic. Afterwards, we saw the daily evening \u00a0fountain show in the streets of Dubai, just outside the Burj Khalifa. We returned back to the hotel at 9 pm, had dinner, and went to sleep.<\/span><\/p>\n The next morning, we woke up and got ready early for the city tour of Abu Dhabi. The day included visits to places like the Grand Mosque, Ferrari World and the local street market<\/strong> to purchase dry fruits likes dates which are a speciality of this corner of the world.<\/span><\/p>\n Ferrari World for my boys, was like a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Knowing them for so many years, the excitement on their faces was clearly visible seeing them explore a theme park based on their favorite childhood car.<\/span><\/p>\n Image Credit: EditQ for Wikimedia Commons <\/a> Though the whole day was free, we went to Mall of Emirates, Ibn Battuta<\/a><\/strong> Mall<\/strong><\/a> for some further shopping. During the afternoon, we decided to try a local restaurant for lunch. As our legs grew increasingly tired from walking the acres and acres of commercial land which is a night bad.<\/span><\/p>\n Finally, the last day of our trip was upon us. \nWe boarded our flight from Mumbai at 1pm and arrived at the Dubai international airport at 3 pm. Upon our arrival, the driver was present to receive and take us to the hotel. \nAnother leisure day for us began with a lazy breakfast. With luxury not being at a premium, Dubai made sure that it makes all of its visiting people are treated like kings and queens. <\/span><\/p>\n
