Delhi in June is at its worst and we didn’t want to start our married life like that so a getaway in honeymoon’s disguise was a more than welcome idea. Our 6 days in Himachal Pradesh were amazing and great weather only acted as an added factor. Fucked on an altitude of 2622 meters Kufri is as beautiful as it gets. Another great thing about this place was how Instagrammable it was. We took some amazing pictures here and had fun.

2. We saw and explored many interesting and beautiful places such as Sundernagar Lake, Kullu Valley, and Pandoh Dam. We also went to the famous Hadimba Temple and Tibetan Monastery. One of the best parts of the sightseeing experience was our visit to ‘Vashisht’ hot springs.

Our Hotels In Himachal

We stayed at Hotel Woodstay in Shimla and we are quite satisfied with the experience. The staff was courteous and very helpful and our needs were taken care of. In Manali, we stayed at Siyal Heights and our experience was equally amazing there too. The staff was polite and respectful and the services and facilities provided by the hotel were amazing. Overall, we had a great experience.

Kerala Vs Himachal For Honeymoon: Which Is The Ideal Retreat For Newlywed Couples?

Shopping In Himachal

The shopping experience in Himachal is unmatched and the Mall Road in both Shimla and Manali just set examples for the same. We shopped for many things on our 6 days Himachal trip. We bought woolens for our family and many wooden artifacts and artforms which we found very pretty. An important thing to note is that Shimla’s markets are slightly more expensive.

How To Reach Himachal Pradesh

There are many ways by which one can reach Himachal Pradesh depending upon the destination they are traveling to and other such factors. For us, we went from Delhi to Shimla and we decided to take the journey by train as that is the most convenient way to travel and the most comfortable one too. We took a train from Delhi to Shimla and had a great journey.

What To Pack For A Himachal Trip

What you should pack for a trip to Himachal majorly depends on your travel month and quite naturally on the weather in Himachal during those months. Since we took a 6 days Himachal trip in June here are some of the things that we suggest one must take along if they plan for Himachal in June.

Raincoat

Umbrella

A light jacket

Jeans

Full sleeves t-shirts and shirts

Comfortable shoes

A Delhi To Himachal Trip With Family Can’t Be More Smooth And Amusing Than This!

Himachal Travel Tips

Here are some travel tips and tricks that we learnt during our 6 days in Himachal Pradesh and we think this might help anyone and everyone who reads our experience.

Shimla is slightly more expensive than Manali but the experiences at both the destinations are similar so plan accordingly.

Carry cash and a lot of it. You might not find many ATMs at these places.

The locals are very warm, friendly and helpful so try interacting with them.

It’s better to keep 3 days for Manali and 2 days for Shimla as the experiences in Manali are much more and better.

Do not forget your camera. Take it along to make your moments a forever thing.

Our Experience With TravelTriangle

Our experience with TravelTriangle was amazing, to say the least.
