Christ Church is built in the Gothic architectural style and presents congregations in English as well as the Thai language. It falls within the Diocese of Singapore and has the capacity for 450 seats. There are six pillars inside the church and decorative stained glass windows have images from the bible. The Crucifixion is behind the communion table which is the centerpiece of the church. This was one of the first Protestant churches in Bangkok but in Thailand which was completed in the 18th century. It is more than 175-years old and looks stunning when the light passes through the stained glass windows. The window has the image of Christ with children is located on the left side of the main window. The window on the right depicts two interactions between Jesus and Mary Magdalene. One of the rear windows has the image of a Saint from Scotland.<\/p>\n

This old church in Bangkok is fascinating and makes you feel calm and peaceful within. One of the colorful images you will find in one of the stained glass windows is that of Jesus calming the waves. The waves are from the Lake Galilee. The church runs a kindergarten on weekdays called the Rainbow Land. Towards one of the ends of the church, there is a memorial garden where the ashes of the church members attached with their photos are placed.<\/p>\n
