{"id":43972,"date":"2023-03-27T14:27:54","date_gmt":"2021-12-09T06:42:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/traveltriangle.com\/blog\/?p=43972"},"modified":"2021-12-09T12:16:50","modified_gmt":"2021-12-09T06:46:50","slug":"indian-woman-travels-to-coldest-place-breaks-stereotypes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/traveltriangle.com\/blog\/indian-woman-travels-to-coldest-place-breaks-stereotypes\/","title":{"rendered":"First Indian To Travel Coldest Inhabited Place In The World"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><\/h2>\n<p>Nidhi Tiwari is no ordinary woman, last year her mission was to drive 23,800 km from Delhi to London, which she did and this year too, she has done the impossible.<\/p>\n<p>Nidhi drove <strong>5000 km in Siberia<\/strong> in its harshest winter to <strong>reach the coldest<!--more--> inhabited place in the world &#8211; Oymyakon.<\/strong> She is the only Indian to have done it and this impossible trip of hers was inspired by her innate desire to look for bigger challenges.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAfter Delhi to London, it had to be a bigger challenge\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Preparation For The Expedition<\/h3>\n<p>To prepare for a road journey where temperature would drop to <strong>minus 59 degrees,<\/strong> Nidhi had to step her game massively. Having not ridden in the terrains of Siberia, Nidhi practiced driving at high altitude areas in 2016. The route that she took was a loop from <strong>Yakutsk <\/strong>(coldest major city of the world) to the<strong> port town of Magadan<\/strong> and back.
