It will be the seventh edition of this global event in 2020, and as excited as we are, we know you are too. That\u2019s why here, we will be providing you with all the information that you would need to know about this adrenalin-filled, heart-thumping event of the year!<\/p>\n

According to ICC, the warm-up matches are scheduled to be held from the 15th to the 20th of February, 2020. The venue for these matches will be Brisbane (Allan Border Field) and Adelaide (Karen Rolton Oval). The final will be played on the International Women\u2019s Day on the 8th of March, 2020.<\/p>\n

Earlier in January 2018, ICC announced that the ICC Women\u2019s T20 World Cup tournaments would be held in Australia. The country will host the tournament in four of its cities, over six venues, where the total 23 matches will be played.<\/p>\n

In this tournament, ten teams will be featured. Based on the finishing positions from the ICC Women\u2019s World Twenty20 2018, the top-ranked eight teams were automatically qualified. Determination for the rest of the two spots for qualification was done via the ICC Women\u2019s T20 World Cup Qualifier held in 2019, in which Bangladesh and Thailand secured the spots. It was the first time for Thailand to be qualifying for the ICC Women\u2019s T20 World Cup tournament.<\/p>\n
