Finally the day arrived and we left for our trip to Dalhousie from Delhi<\/a><\/strong> in the evening. The journey was approx 14 hours long and we reached our hotel in Dalhousie by 10 am. As soon as we reached, we were welcomed with delicious snacks and drinks. After eating and freshening up, we started our trek to Kalatop<\/strong>. Kalatop is a beautiful wildlife sanctuary with a lot of trails for trekkers to explore and discover.<\/p>\n

As soon as we reached there, it started snowing and we were overjoyed. This was our first snowfall experience and it was amazing. It gave us a chance to click some amazing pictures and play in snow.<\/strong> We spent the entire day there and came back to our hotel by late evening. It took us sometime to reach our hotel as the roads were blocked due to heavy snowfall. After we reached the hotel, we had a sumptuous dinner and slept off. Our Dalhousie trip<\/strong> was nonetheless full of adventures.

Day 2 was for exploring the Scotland of India – the beautiful Khajjiar<\/strong>. This quaint hill station is surrounded by the gorgeous lakes, pastures, and forests. One can enjoy just sitting in the grass, looking at the flowers and soaking in warm sunlight. Our journey from Dalhousie to Khajjiar<\/strong> was something we were really looking forward to!<\/p>\n
