Our location was decided since a long time. We reached Jaipur by train and upon arrival, were transferred to our hotel. After reaching there, we rested for sometime and started off for our sightseeing tour. The first stop was the grand Amer fort<\/strong>, known for its splendour and heroic past. The fort was beautiful and took us back in time when the Rajputs were trying to defend their homes from the Mughals. Stepping into Diwan-e-khas and the Diwan-e-aam makes one feel part of the history that our ancestors are so proud of.<\/p>\n

We clicked lots of pictures there and then proceeded to see the Jal Mahal<\/a><\/strong>. One should not miss the view of the setting sun here. It’s on the way to the Jaigarh and Nahargarh<\/strong> forts. We covered the Nahargarh fort, also known popularly as the tiger fort, the fort was originally named Sudarshan Garh. The fort has become more popular after some scenes of movie \u2018Rang De Basanti\u2019<\/strong> were shot here. It provides a lovely panoramic view of the city and we spent sometime there, just gazing at the city lights below.<\/p>\n

Post that, we came back to our hotel and called it a night.<\/p>\n
