Traveling is something that my wife and I really enjoy. We often take a trip and try to tick off things from our bucket list. So when this time we started wanderlusting , we knew where we wanted to go. Singapore has been on our list for a very long time. We decided to go to Singapore during the month of September and honestly it was one of the best decisions we took. Singapore during this time was absolutely amazing. It wasn\u2019t very cool or very hot. It was very comfortable and we really did enjoy all 6 days here.<\/p>\n

Sentosa Island is one of the most fun places to go to in Singapore. It is perfect for all age types and consists of restaurants, adventure parks, rides and more. One should surely spend one full day here.<\/p>\n

Garden By the Bay is another popular place where we truly wanted to go. It is especially a sight to see at night when the whole place is lit with lights. It truly is spectacular.<\/p>\n

Visiting Singapore Flyer is a must as one can see the beautiful landscape of the city from here. Enjoy a birds-eye view of the city as you would not find this view from anywhere else. This must be added to every traveler\u2019s \u201cthings to do in Singapore\u201d<\/strong> list.<\/p>\n

During our 6 days in Singapore, the first two days we stayed on a cruise and the rest 4 we stayed in a hotel and here\u2019s how our experience was.<\/p>\n

1. Genting Dream Cruise<\/h3>\n

It was truly a dream staying on this cruise. It was massive with 4000 people with 1800 staff. The cruise was segregated into different sections like nightclubs, gaming, restaurants, gym and spa and more.<\/p>\n

2. One Farrer Hotel<\/h3>\n

Our next 4 days in Singapore were spent in One Farrer Hotel which was a 5-star property. It was such a smooth stay with no hiccups whatsoever. The rooms were luxurious and offered all kinds of amenities. We will never forget the hospitality and the kind staff.<\/p>\n

Our Budget For The Trip<\/h2>\n

During our vacation in Singapore, we spent around 60 to 70k apart from the package cost and it was solely our personal expense like shopping food and anything that wasn\u2019t a part of the itinerary.<\/p>\n

We did a shop but not much. It was souvenirs and a few more things. But the shopping scene in Singapore is crazy. There are was too many malls and markets where people can shop. Whether one is looking to buy luxury brands or affordable things, Singapore would not disappoint you.<\/p>\n

Singapore Food<\/h2>\n

Singapore sees a big footfall of tourists every year and these are tourists coming from all walks of life. So whether one wants to try local street food or want to have a fine dining experience, Singapore will not disappoint you. During our stay here we only had Indian food. Since our hotel was very close to Little India, we tried a lot of restaurants and loved it. There were a lot of options for vegetarians. They even have a lot of options for Jains.<\/p>\n

What To Pack For Singapore Trip<\/h2>\n

One should pack cotton, dresses, shorts, lights shoes, sunblock and more. One should also carry a first aid box for emergency purposes. Also, make sure to pack a travel charger.<\/p>\n
