The yatra was suspended on March 18 due to COVID-19 outspread.<!--more--> Later it was announced that the Yatra will commence from August 16 but there were chances of extending the date. Currently, the yatra has been restarted and strict guidelines &amp; precautions are being followed by the state government and the Shrine Board to curb the spread of the Coronavirus. According to the reports, important measures ensuring the safety of the visitors are being followed by the Government. <\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Announcements By Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Board<\/h2>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-582795\" src=\"https:\/\/img.traveltriangle.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Announcements-By-Shri-Mata-Vaishno-Devi-Board.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" \/><\/div>\n<p>The following announcements have been made by Ramesh Kumar, CEO of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Daily two thousand pilgrims will be allowed to visit the temple in the first week of the reopening of the Yatra.
