Agumbe is a little village in Shimoga District<\/strong> in the Malnad region<\/strong> of Karnataka. The village is also known as \u2018The Cherrapunji of the South<\/strong>\u2019. This scenic village lies in the Western Ghats belt at about 643m above sea level with some of the last remaining lowland rainforests.<\/p>\n
