Mallalli Falls originates from the Kumardhara River, a chief tributary of the Netravati River. It is believed that pilgrims crossing Kukke Subhramanya Temple in Subhramanya must cross this river to take a holy bath before entering the temple. The total length of this river is about 40 km, as it passes through two major towns: Kukke Subhramanya and Uppinangadi.<\/p>\n
