Vladimir Lenin, also known as Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, was a towering figure and a revolutionary, who led the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917 and established the world’s first communist state, the Soviet Union. Standing on a raised platform, the statue was carved out of pure black marble. On the day of 1st May every year, many communists gather around the statue to mark Labour Day.<\/p>\n

It evokes a sense of divinity and spirituality from within. Hundreds of devotees flock here daily to seek the blessings of Kanaka Durga. Navratri, or Dussehra, is a festival of prominence here.
