This steep segment can be challenging, mainly when walking back towards Chaubatia. While descending into Bhalu dam seems kind of a breeze, coming up again on return might get tiring. It should be noted that Bhalu Dam is not directly accessible to vehicles due to the poor quality of roads leading to this area.<\/p>\n

For those coming from far away, the nearest railway station to Bhalu Dam is Kathgodam, which is located around 79 kilometres from Chaubatia. From Kathgodam, one can hire a taxi or use local transport to Chaubatia Orchards. Pantnagar Airport, which is approximately 110 kilometres away from Chaubatia, serves as the closest airport.
