It had been a long time ever since I took my last break which was a year ago. Post joining the new firm, I was not able to spend time with my wife which is why I decided to take her on a romantic trip to Seychelles, especially to celebrate her birthday. Making her feel special was my priority and having been to Maldives previously, we had fallen in love with the concept of beach holidays. Hence, we decided to go on a romantic trip to Seychelles this time on a completely refreshing holiday!<\/em><\/p>\n

Day 1: Hello Seychelles!<\/h3>\n

I had planned the trip in such a way that on the first day, we land in Seychelles and are able to celebrate my wife\u2019s birthday<\/strong> in this paradisiacal island. We had boarded the flight from Lucknow, flew enroute Delhi and Mumbai to Mahe Island in Seychelles<\/a> around 6 am. On our arrival, the agent\u2019s representative greeted us a warm welcome and handed over the local sim card, emergency contact numbers, and some foreign currency<\/strong>. We were really impressed by their professionalism and later, they transferred us to the pre-booked Coral Strand Smart Choice Hotel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Seychelles Island: All You Need To Know About This Gem Of The Indian Ocean<\/a><\/p>\n

It took us close to four hours<\/strong> to reach the hotel post which we checked-in, relaxed for a while, and treated ourselves to a delicious breakfast. Later in the day, we explored the hotel and its surroundings which was a beautiful and a lush property. Having accumulated enough energy post all the hectic travel, we got ready in the evening, and went out to explore a small local market<\/strong> which is held every Wednesday in Mahe Island<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It was very entertaining to enjoy all the live music performances, dance shows, followed by a romantic dinner at an Italian restaurant<\/strong> located right across the hotel. The owners were great hosts for the evening and they themselves cooked a heart-warming and a personalised meal of spaghetti pasta with wine<\/strong> for us. It was a great evening and an end to the first day of our romantic trip to Seychelles as we were really happy to have celebrated my wife\u2019s birthday at such a hep and happening place.<\/p>\n
