He may be tiny, but he has successfully completed a \u2018mission to the moon<\/strong>\u2019, something that we spend our lives only dreaming about! All within the confines of the Adelaide Airport<\/strong> in Australia, 4-year old Dwayne Frankie<\/strong> has been granted his lifelong wish of going to the moon!<\/p>\n

Frankie has epilepsy and has spent most of his young life in hospital, battling uncontrollable seizures<\/strong> almost every day. But that had never diminished his yearning of going into outer-space. \u0644\u0639\u0628\u0629 \u0642\u0645\u0627\u0631 \u0644\u0644\u0627\u064a\u0641\u0648\u0646<\/a> And just a day ago, the collaborative efforts of the Make-A-Wish Foundation<\/strong> and Qantas<\/strong> allowed the little adventurer to complete his intrepid voyage to \u2018space\u2019, bringing the toddler boundless joy<\/em>!<\/p>\n

Flanked by Star Wars Stormtroopers<\/strong> and accompanied by Batman<\/strong>, Spiderman<\/strong>, and some aliens<\/strong>, a space-suit clad Dwayne hopped through the airport to his first destination – Mission Control<\/strong> at the Qantas Club – as cameras and family members tailed behind him.<\/p>\n

At the \u2018Mission Control\u2019, a crew of Qantas \u2018astronauts<\/strong>\u2019 awaited him. They invited him into a hangar that had been transformed into an intergalactic wonderland, complete with moon rocks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

An ecstatic Frankie completed his mission by planting on the moon\u2019s surface a cute hand-painted flag<\/strong> that said \u2018Dwayne On The Moon<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n

It was a dream come true for the little guy (and his parents) who had forever longed for an adventure outside hospital walls. \u201cYou see his worst\u2026to see him with a smile is awesome. You can\u2019t describe it, it\u2019s just great<\/em>,\u201d said his father, Philip.<\/p>\n

Describing their son\u2019s special day as \u201cphenomenal<\/strong>\u201d, his mother said that her boy had the time of his life on his mission to the moon.<\/p>\n

\u201cDwayne is absolutely elated after the experience. He looked at the moon early this morning and said \u2018I went there last night!’<\/em>,\u201d she told the Press later. \u201cIt has been the most wonderful experience and our family will be forever grateful to Make-A-Wish and Qantas for making our little boy’s dream come true<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
