    • Trip to Kutch

Driver was good. Itinerary planning was little poor. They have note considered that so many attractions are closed on Monday. On Somnath we couldn't cover all things since they were placed into next day's plan. Hotels were not upto the mark. Specially Sun Plaza at Somnath was terrible. Please exclude this hotel for all other travellers so that you will not receive negative reviews. It was not at all 3 star. It was like staying at normal lodge. Hotel Manek Svasti was good, staff and facilities were nice. Sun plaza was horrible. Lords Inn at Vadodara was okay. Bait Inn at Ahmedabad was again bad. Spending an evening at dwarka beach.

The cab was good and the driver was good in the sense that his driving was good but he was not so mixing type and didn't talk so much which would have been better if he communicated in a friendly manner. The hotels were all good but except the ahmedabad hotel rest all hotels complementary breakfast was pathetic..Iwas very sorry rather surprised to find that the road conditions of the entire trip was the worst which made the trip very very tireing and painful.

We had a nice trip. Couple of feedbacks: 1.Driver was really nice. Only if he had given more information on the places we visited, would have been great 2. VITS devbhumi is really nice. Value for money. 3. Heritage in Somnath was not good at all. Rooms are not good, so we had to change the allocated room. In the entire hotel there were only 2 guests including us! Its very far from the temple, so not suggestible. 4. Diu beaches did not have water sport activities, that was disappointing for us. Otherwise, everything went well...

It was a memorable journey. Indeed a very fantastic one. Only point of disappointment was Hotel pristine. It's near to Airport, but felt rooms are not as per the fare charged. Not as good as other restaurants we stayed. Stay at Dwarka, Somnath . Entire journey in the car and yes, the Driver Tejas Barot. Extremely happy with his work... We could cover all places coz of his time sense..

My parents wanted to travel Gujrat and though TT i got in touch with De Voyger. They did an excellent job starting from designing the itinerary catering to my wishes to dropping my parents to the airport. Special shout out to Trupti Madam who was always available to address our concerns. The driver discontinued in the middle but a replacement was quickly given. Thanks De Voyger for the service. Hotels were upgraded without additional charges.

Ahmedabad is considered one of the safest city in India, especially for solo travellers. The Gujaratis are very warm and welcoming people. However, it is best to take care of yourself like in any other place during travel and keep your luggage safe at all times.

While Gujaratis are known for their vegetarianism, non-veg food is not all that hard to find in major cities in Gujarat. There are plenty of restaurants serving all kinds of cuisine in Gujarat.

Navaratri, Rann Utsav, and Uttarayan (kite festival) are famous festivals in Gujarat. The Bhavnath Fair in Junagadh, Vautha Fair in Vautha, Shamlaji Mela near Himmatnagar, and Dang Darbar in Ahwa are popular fairs to visit in Gujarat.

Gujarat is renowned for being a dry state, meaning alcohol is banned in the state. It is not advised for travellers to purchase liquor illegally in Gujarat. However, there are some designated high-end hotels that sell alcohol to permit holders. A permit can be acquired from the officials by showing a valid identity proof. Non-Indians can also purchase a 30-day permit to buy alcohol in Gujarat.
