October through April is the best time to visit Karnataka and South India. Owing to the location of the state in South India, the climate of Karnataka remains on the warmer side throughout the year. Here’s a season-wise detailed look at the best season to visit Karnataka for a holiday.

Summer Season

Due to its highlands, most tourist destinations in Karnataka don’t experience hot and humid summer i.e. from April to June. The coastal, north central, and south central are the main three climatic zones of Karnataka. Bangalore experiences moderate summer, with day temperatures hovering around 35 to 40 degrees. Cities in northern Karnataka witness scorching summers with temperatures reaching 45 degrees in April and May. The hill stations of Karnataka provide respite to the tourists from plains of Karnataka as well as the other parts of India. If you’re planning to visit hill stations like Coorg then summer is the best time to visit Karnataka.

Monsoon Season

Monsoon season in Karnataka lasts from July through September. The region receives about 143 inches of average rainfall annually. Once travelers can go past thunderstorms and hard-to-access roads, hill stations in the Western Ghats are really scenic and atmospheric during a downpour. Mountain streams flow with full power before tumbling over forested hills as spectacular waterfalls. Although the monsoon season is a bit humid in Karnataka, it brings in lots of heavy showers and thunderstorms from the month of July to September. Monsoon is the best season to visit Karnataka for those looking to catch a glimpse of the exotic flora and fauna of wildlife sanctuaries in Karnataka.

Winter Season

From November through March, the weather of Karnataka remains clear and the temperature hovers under 30 degrees in the daytime. Winter is the best time to visit Karnataka. Travelers can plan a safari to Bandipur National Park or Nagarhole National Park to encounter wildlife in Karnataka and exotic flora. However, all major cities of Karnataka are well connected to other parts of India by a train route. Bangalore railway station is Karnataka’s most important railway terminal. The capital city of Bangalore is connected to only a few district headquarters by railroad.

Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) is the government operator for road transport in Karnataka. It connects major cities and tourist destinations in Karnataka with both intra-state and interstate buses. KSRTC reservation for bus tickets can be made online in advance. Hi, Now we get call from Travel Triangle executive only for money. My trip was arranged by Blissful Journey through Travel Triangle. I say thanks to executive of Blissful Journey for arranging the trip and the executive (Gagan) was in contact also during the whole trip. This was my fourth trip through Travel Triangle. Travel Triangle was not prompt in providing quotations initially. I had to call Sujata for providing quotations. This time response was not as per expectation from Travel Triangle. We expect better service from Travel Triangle. Jog Falls, Krishna Math (Udupi), Om Beach (Gokarna), Konkan Railway

Ravishankar's 5 days trip to Karnataka

Excellent Service by Cab driver and Cab was also just nice for family of 5. Fairstay Hotel was very good with nice Valley view and good breakfast with homemade food to order for lunch and dinner on request. Hotel ROOPA at Mysore was not up to the mark, it is overrated, it cannot be 3 star. First night they gave us the room from which view was people taking bath, washing and changing clothing, we can't even open the curtains of our windows, next morning they changed the room, breakfast was ok though but still i would say change the option of Hotel Roopa from your package. And in Hotel Roopa no bunk provided to driver, if driver doesn't get good sleep its unsafe. Nice view from Hotel Fairstay at OOTY.

Sayali's 3 days trip to Karnataka

I travelled through such traveling agent for the first time. I had no clue how to do all this , I was only sure of one thing that is my destination for the trip - Coorg. I searched with #travelling, travel to Coorg , planning trip, etc on the Instagram. I got reply from 3-4 accounts . Some of them were like having trip only on the weekends. And I wanted my trip on weekdays. Out of all these, I found the travel triangle trip itinerary up to mark and convenient. So I made a decision to go with it. I would like to mention specially Mr Shankar, who was helpful through out and made the itinerary according to my preferences. Also our driver was polite (Mr Swamy). And the trip was awesome. I would definitely recommend travel triangle to my friends and family.
