About Shopping at Janpath Market In New Delhi

One of the famous markets in New Delhi, Janpath Market is visited by tourists from all over the world. Gujarati market and Tibetan Market are the two main markets that constitute the Janpath market in Delhi. It is located in Janpath and is very close to Connaught Place in New Delhi. Apart from the above mentioned markets, there are also kiosks that you will find on the sidewalks. If you enter inside the market, you will come across an array of shops where vendors bring fresh items such as garments, accessories, footwear and more. Bargaining is encouraged in these shops but remember not to overindulge in the same. If you wish to shop for artsy or vintage items, you can head to the Gujarati Market. Apart from the artsy items, you can also shop for authentic Kutch work items that are a real deal here. Some of the best items that most of the travelers prefer to buy from the kiosks are incense, quirky jewellery and souvenirs, fashion accessory, attars, silver and junk, Lucknowi chikankari garments, Pashmina shawls, jewellery boxes, bags, footwear, and more. You will also find a variety of fruits and local produce at the other side of the market. Over all experience was good but first we got a driver car was not appropriate and driver was driving very easily and after I gave a complaint they changed the driver...Everytime we had a great experience with Travel Traingle but this time in the start of the trip itself we were disappointed on Day 1..After that we had a driver who was very much interactive and had a good trip after that. Delhi and Amritsar trip was great but because of the first driver in Delhi airport to Agra we were not that happy

I intentionally made a decision to take tour with Back to Holidays though I knew that I’m paying way more because I’m taking my mother with me. The coordinator Homendra is very good in assisting us but the cab driver who was rude and tried to skip a lot of places. The hotel SunStar in Delhi was pretty decent. There was a hot water problem and when contacted the receptionist, he said we will have to managed for a day with normal water which was very cold in Feb. They did not provide us welcome drink also. The Regal Vista hotel in Agra was good enough. Driver kept trying to make us to take guide in every place to get him a commission. The very last day, for the drop to airport, the driver himself arranged a local taxi which was in pathetic condition and the taxi driver was also rude in communicating with us.

Amritsar driver was very good. Second driver at rest of the places was not at all good. His driving skills are good. But he doesn't know places & raids. Many places, we had to skip because of his inefficient knowledge. In both cases, drivers were unaware of our date & day of our arrival. Agra hotel was pathetic. All rusted hard taps on bath. Unrepaired walls, doors . Wifi was not functional in any of the hotels except Ramada.
