Fairs And Festivals

Shoolini Fair

Showcasing the culture of Solan’s spirit of cultural exuberance, this fair commemorates on the third Sunday of June annually with much fanfare. This event is held at the Thodo ground and the entire venue is extravagantly decorated and decked up with cultural programs.

Sair

Sair festival is celebrated at many regions of Himachal which is held every year around mid-September at Arki near Solan. The major attraction of this festival is the fascinating bullfights. The locals train the fighter bulls for the festival days. Alongside this the Sair Festival is also a paradise for shoppers as there are shops which sale and purchase clothes along with utensils and local produces. And also there are stalls which serves the local cuisine.

Me and my wife planned for Himachal Pradesh and Golden temple. The trip was great and memorable one. We enjoyed a lot despite of hectic traveling. Overall good experince with TT, Agents were responsive, Driver was knowledgeable on the areas we visited and hotels were as promised. Good that driver suggested extra places that were not there in the package (with extra money ofcourse but worth the money and effort) like Sissu, Koksar, otherwise trip would have been not so great. As feedback, I expect these things from TT or Agent. Also, payment to driver wasn't made on time which caused bit delay to reach to airport (calls had to be made etc.). Thanks to Sourabh, Neha, Laitha, Kewal and Rajesh(driver). You helped for a memorable trip. Appreciated.

Excellent service. I visited manali and obtained service of Turn on vacation. Our tour operator was Ms Anju. She managed fantastic tour for me. Hotel Stay, Taxi Service, Volvo was too good and the best part was food it was great. Enjoyed a lot. Definitely recommend them.
