Anakkara is a small village in the Idukki district of Kerala. Anakkara lies in the Western Ghats at a height of 4000 feet above the sea level. Anakkara is famous for its spice plantations and is situated at a distance of about 13 km from Thekkady and 120 km from Kottayam.
