Situated in two different corners of the country, Punjab and Bangalore are separated by a distance of more than 2,500 kilometers. A number of tourists travel from Bangalore to Punjab to witness the rich culture of the city, and explore its beauty. Tourists who wish to travel from Bangalore to Punjab have various transportation options at their disposal such as flights, trains, and more. Here’s a brief on how to reach Punjab from Bangalore using the available means of transport:

By Air:

Owing to the large distance between Bangalore and Punjab, traveling by air is one of the most convenient and cost effective means of transport to commute between the two cities. Airlines like Indigo, SpiceJet, Vistara, Air India, and more operate regular Bangalore to Punjab flights. A number of airlines also operate Bangalore to Amritsar direct flights which save more travel time. Travelers can also book connecting flights to save on their budget as such flights are cheaper as compared to direct flights.

By Train:

The widespread railway network of India connects Bangalore to various regions of Punjab by train. A number of trains like Amritsar Express, Sachkhand Express, Golden Temple Mail, Paschim Express, JBP Atari Express, and more, connect Punjab and Bangalore by railway network. Even though Bangalore to Punjab trains take more than two days to reach the destination but the advantage of traveling by train is that train tickets are more economical than flight tickets.

By Road:

Due to the large distance between these two places, traveling from bangalore to Punjab by road is not an easy task. It is extremely difficult to cover a distance of more than 2,500 kilometers by road. Even a non-stop drive requires more than 42 hours. Taking the effort, time, and resources into consideration, it is quite inconvenient to travel from bangalore to Punjab by road. Therefore, most of the tourists prefer to travel by airways, or railways.

Zamindar's 8 days trip to Punjab

It was a wonderful experience touring with one of Travel Triangle's associated Tour Operator "Wild Lotus". the services were great. Special thanks to the Tour Manager Rakesh Gilly for being so cooperative. He has been always there for any assistance. The Hotels were as commited just had to compromise a bit with food at some hotels. Hotels provided at Shimla & Dharamshala were the best anyone can get at this price. Hotels at Manali, Dalhousie & Amritsar were also fair enough if compared to the price they charged. Even the car which was provided for local transport was new & in good condition as promised by Rakesh Gilly. The driver was very humble, professional & deciplined. The itenerary was very well planned by Rakesh Gilly & covered almost every tourist spot. In all it was a great experience & from now Wild Lotus will be my preferred tour operator when it comes to touring North India. Thanks again Rakesh Gilly.

Nikhilramesh's 4 days trip to Punjab

Overall trip was good. They followed whatever mentioned in the package. Only thing is we felt that the driver was not properly briefed. For the first day we reached Chandigarh very late hence we had to take dinner on the way other than from the booked hotel. This expense has been agreed and allowed to deduct. Appreciate for that. The hotel at Chandigarh was fine. But hotel at Amritsar was not that much standard one. Plus the dining area was not good place. Food was very good in both places. Car driver is very good. driving was perfect. But there was no space at all in this Innova to keep the luggage. we struggled to accommodate and had to keep in the seats. We all came from different places hence all were having luggage. Overall it is very good.
